Back in the early 1990's, I took some friends up to McConnels Mill for the day for some rock climbing and adventure, away from the huslte & bustle of Pittsburgh. I drove there in my 1969 VW Bug bringing my friends Valerie Gatchel & Ric Potts. Not more than a minute out of the car, I spotted a baby frog that was cute, and so I started filming this little clip... Little did I know it would end up like it happened. Or yet, ...years later, on something called YouTube. We did not plan, reherse, or mean to harm anything or anyone that day. I was not going to squish it on camera or in my hand, It was mearly an accident, with Ric stomping on the frog. He meant to stomp on the ground ahead of it, to make it leap, since the frog was just sitting there looking at us. Right when Ric went to put his foot down, the frog decided to jump & so thus got squished.We were looking for some action shot, we sure got it. It was unfortunate what transpired. I appologize for Ric's actions, but it was an unfortunate accident. Unusually weird and mildly entertaining now to look back at it. Stupid Things Stupid Humans Do. The frog lived for awhile shortly after that but wasn't good for him since his inards were outwards, he was hopping around still? Valerie wasn't too happy about the whole incident either.
