New hydrogen blast at Fukushima nuclear reactor after Japan quake-tsunami

Follow latest updates at twitter.com and www.facebook.com To the latest developments in Japan now where there's been a second blast at the Fukushima nuclear plant. 11 people were injured in the explosion. The reactors are said to be intact at the moment. And officials claim there hasn't been a change in the radiation levels since the latest incident took place. At least 22 people have already been exposed to radiation - after an earlier explosion following Friday's devestating tremor and tsunami. Officials say the possibility of another blast is now unlikely. People within a 20km radius of the reactor have been evacuated to safety. There had been warnings of a three-metre high tsunami moving towards the northeast coast of Japan caused by a strong aftershock. We're now getting reports that the alert has been lifted. Prime Minister Naoto Kan has called it the worst crisis since World War II. RT's Ivor Bennett is in Sendai, one of the towns worst-affected by the huge wave.

Fukushima Day 106 Time-lapse of Nuclear Explosions since 1945 by artist Isao Hashimoto

Japanese artist Isao Hashimoto has created a beautiful, undeniably scary time-lapse map of the 2053 nuclear explosions which have taken place between 1945 and 1998, beginning with the Manhattan Project's "Trinity" test near Los Alamos and concluding with Pakistan's nuclear tests in May of 1998. This leaves out North Korea's two alleged nuclear tests in this past decade (the legitimacy of both of which is not 100% clear). Each nation gets a blip and a flashing dot on the map whenever they detonate a nuclear weapon, with a running tally kept on the top and bottom bars of the screen. Hashimoto, who began the project in 2003, says that he created it with the goal of showing"the fear and folly of nuclear weapons." It starts really slow — if you want to see real action, skip ahead to 1962 or so — but the buildup becomes overwhelming. www.ctbto.org Multimedia artwork "2053" - This is the number of nuclear explosions conducted in various parts of the globe.* Profile of the artist: Isao HASHIMOTO Born in Kumamoto prefecture, Japan in 1959. Warning: HydroVolcanic Explosion "INEVITABLE" at Fukushima update 11/20/11

Architect of Reactor 3 warns of massive hydrovolcanic explosion Posted by Mochizuki on November 19th, 2011 Architect of Fukushima Daiichi Reactor 3, Uehara Haruo, the former president of Saga University had an interview on 11/17/2011. fukushima-diary.com In this interview, he admitted Tepco's explanation does not make sense, and that the China syndrome is inevitable. He stated that considering 8 months have passed since 311 without any improvement, it is inevitable that melted fuel went out of the container vessel and sank underground, which is called China syndrome. He added, if fuel has reaches a underground water vein, it will cause contamination of underground water, soil contamination and sea contamination. Moreover, if the underground water vein keeps being heated for long time, a massive hydrovolcanic explosion will be caused. He also warned radioactive debris is spreading in Pacific Ocean. Tons of the debris has reached the Marshall Islands as of 11/15/2011. Fukushima JP update 2/9/12 (Arnie Gundersen believes top of Reactor #1 lifted BEFORE explosion)

New Containment Flaw Identified in the BWR Mark 1 Fairewinds shows that the nuclear industry's plan to vent the containment at Fukushima Daiichi could not have prevented a containment failure and the ensuing explosions. Look at the graphics from the containment stress tests conducted more than 40 years ago at a US nuclear reactor identical to Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1. This video and its graphics provide important clues about why Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1 exploded. Transcript Excerpts [...] I wanted to focus on what happened after the tsunami but before the explosions. [...] Well at 2 in the morning, the pressure inside the containment [at Reactor No. 1] was almost 9 times higher, that means it was about 125 pounds per square inch. This containment was not designed for 125 pounds per square inch. To look a little further though, by 9:30 in the morning the pressure starts to drop and for the next 7 hours the pressure is much lower than it was at 2 in the morning. So the question is, how could it be that the pressure in the afternoon was lower than the pressure in the early morning? Remember, there is a violent chemical reaction going on inside the nuclear reactor where all sorts of hydrogen gas is being generated. One possible reason for the lower containment pressure is that the containment vent was open. But that had not happened yet. So what made the pressure drop down? One possibility I believe to be the case, is something that happened 40 years ago at a plant called the ...

Nuclear Graveyard: Fukushima lets journos in

Japan has opened the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant to journalists for the first time since the disaster of last March. RT has obtained a video of the inside of the crippled complex. On Saturday, representatives of the Japanese and international media -- more than 30 reporters, photographers and cameramen -- were taken on a tour of the facility which was the site of the world's worst nuclear disaster in 25 years. Despite TEPCO's assurances that the radiation leaks pose much less danger now, the visitors had to wear a full set of protective gear during the tour. The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, some 225 kilometers northeast of Tokyo, was severely damaged by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami, and spewed large amounts of radioactive materials onto the surrounding countryside, much of which remains off-limits. Since then, the authorities have struggled to contain the crisis, with pledges being given in the summer that it would be resolved by the end of this year. However the Japanese government has admitted that it will take up to 30 years to completely neutralize the radiation released from the reactors. Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Explosion

The nuclear power plant building in Fukushima, Japan, explodes. This is video from the BBC live reporting this morning, showing the steam explosion of the reactor containment building at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. The reactor containment building exploded-but that doesn't mean the reactor exploded. It appears this explosion is a steam explosion of the outer building. That means the cooling system has been lost, which is about as serious as it gets. Pray for the people of Japan NOW. Pray hard. This is just under 5 minutes of coverage from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). I do not own any copyright- the copyright is held by BBC. This is being published here as fair use as MY news coverage, of the news coverage on BBC. This is the first time in history that a nuclear powerplant explosion has been captured on video tape. This is NOT a nuclear explosion-it's a steam explosion. But the core inside is now at severe risk.

Explosion at Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant , Japan (12 March 2011)

Japan TV www.twitvid.com twitter.com The AFP agency reported that a blast was heard and white smoke seen billowing into the air at one of two power plants which the Japanese government had placed under a state of emergency. Several workers were reported to have been injured. Prime minister Naoto Kan had warned that a radiation leak might occur at one of the reactors at the Daiichi facility at Fukushima, 150 miles north of Tokyo, after Friday's 8.9-magnitude quake. The reports of an explosion followed aftershocks and came as a huge humanitarian operation got under way. By Saturday morning at least 1300 people were feared dead and international rescue teams began to arrive The reactor's cooling system failed after the earthquake struck off the Pacific coast, triggering a 33ft tsunami. Pressure in the reactor was continuing to rise after repeated efforts to return power to the cooling systems failed. Radiation inside the plant soared to 1000 times its normal level, officials said, triggering evacuation orders for residents. www.telegraph.co.uk PHOTO of BIG FIRE i.imgur.com

福島第一原発 爆発の瞬間 Explosion at Fukushima nuclear plant

my good bro in japan sent me below PM. japanese government needs to turn away from their sin, the love of money. please read 1 Timothy 6:10 "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." ===== a letter from Fukushima Japan ====== one of the nuclear power plants there. this time eartquakes have certainly been lessons for the people here. most people could tell it happening since the plants were built there. but the past govt, Liberal Democratic Party continued to hide the facts and lied. horrible nuclear plant explosions in the past Soviet was told to be occured by earthquakes, too. i'm sure 99% of the Japanese may oppose to the nuclear electricity, now. it's hard to change by replacing them with solar and wind electricity. but we're urged to tackle it. nuclear offers 1/3 of whole the electricity in Japan.. those nuclear investing companies such as Toshiba, Mitsubishi and Hitachi who have invested much in China, need to face the difficulties from now on. this time, quick changes and hard tackling seem to be urgent here. it's obvious Japan lacks in safety administration and risk management. Koreans and Chinese say the Japanese sell their hearts for money. i wonder if it could be true sometimes.

they have erred from the faith

Worst Nightmare? Nuclear meltdown threat as Fukushima fuel rods 'fully exposed'

It's feared nuclear fuel rods may have partially melted at the 2nd reactor of the stricken Fukushima power plant. This comes after reports they were fully exposed for a short period of time. Shaun Burnie, an independent atomic energy consultant from Scotland says Japan's nuclear crisis is much worse than it seems.

NEW NUCLEAR NEWS!!!!!!福島第一原発3号機爆発Fukushima Explosion

A buildup of hydrogen in the Fukushima Daiichi plant's No. 3 reactor building likely caused the blast, authorities said, which injured six people. But the explosion did not damage the reactor or result in significant radiation leakage, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano told reporters. Kyodo, citing the same company, said that there were measurements of 751 microsieverts and 650 microsieverts of radiation early Monday. Both are above the legal limit, albeit less than one reading recorded Sunday. "Nuclear facilities in Japan ... were built to withstand earthquakes -- but not an 8.9 earthquake," said James Walsh, a CNN contributor and research associate at MIT's security studies program.

GET OUT OF TOKYO: Foreign Office tells all Britons to leave toxic radiation zone as Japanese 'lose control' of stricken reactor *17000 British nationals could be evacuated as last ditch efforts are made to stop nuclear catastrophe *Rich scramble to book private jets out the country as fleeing passengers pack Tokyo airport *French say Japanese have 'visibly lost essential control' as they urge their citizens to get out Plans are being drawn up to evacuate every British national in Japan amid mounting fears of a nuclear catastrophe. Thousands of Britons were last night warned to leave Tokyo and all other areas under threat of radiation poisoning. The advice -- echoed by other countries around the world -- followed a meeting of the Cabinet's emergency Cobra committee to discuss the meltdown-threatened Fukushima nuclear plant. It heightened suspicions that the crisis at the plant -- already ranked the second-worst nuclear disaster after Chernobyl -- is worse than the Japanese authorities have publicly let on. Yesterday 'last-ditch' efforts were continuing at Fukushima to prevent a catastrophe. Last night an official at Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said that radiation levels at the plant had fallen steadily over the past 12 hours. However, ministers were due to hold further talks last night on whether an immediate evacuation from Japan should be considered. About 17000 British nationals are thought to be in the country, mostly in Tokyo. Last night's Foreign ...

Professor Chris Busby: Fukushima Meltdown Could Trigger Atomic Explosion! - Alex Jones Tv 1/3

Top Scientist: Fukushima Meltdown Could Trigger Atomic Explosion Kurt Nimmo www.llrc.org www.infowars.com www.prisonplanet.tv www.infowars.net www.prisonplanet.com April 12, 2011 A British professor and expert on the health effects of ionizing radiation told Alex Jones today evidence points toward a nuclear explosion occurring at the Fukushima Daiichi complex. Two explosions at the plant in March were described as hydrogen gas explosions by Japanese officials and the corporate media. Professor Chris Busby on the Alex Jones Show, April 12, 2011. Citing data collected by two Russian scientists, Professor Chris Busby told Alex Jones and his audience the explosions at Fukushima were nuclear. The Russian scientists, Sergey A. Pakhomov and Yuri V. Dubasov of the VG Khlopin Radium Institute in Saint Petersburg, examined data related to the explosion at Chernobyl. Japanese nuclear safety agency raises crisis level of Fukushima Daiichi power plant accident from 5 to 7. Using ratios of the radionuclides Xenon 133 and Xenon 133m which they measured by gamma spectrometer, the Russians demonstrated that the Chernobyl explosion was a fission criticality explosion and not principally a hydrogen explosion as has been claimed. A dvertisement "I believe that the explosion of the No 3 reactor may have also involved criticality but this must await the release of data on measurements of the Xenon isotope ratios," he writes in a statement on Fukushima and Chernobyl emailed to Infowars.com ...

Explosion at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant

The Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant, often referred to as Fukushima Dai-ichi, is a nuclear power plant located in the town of Okuma in the Futaba District of Fukushima Prefecture. With six separate units located on site with a combined power of 4.7 GW, Fukushima I is one of the 25 largest nuclear power stations in the world. At 1630 JST (0730 GMT) on March 12, there was an explosion at the plant. At 1700 JST (0800 GMT), Fox News Channel reported the explosion and a plume of "white smoke" rising above the plant. At 1703 JST (0803 GMT) BBC News reported that Japan's NHK TV reported the explosion as "near" the plant, and that four workers were injured. Reuters is also reporting that NHK claims the explosion blew the entire outer structure off of the containment building of Unit 1. The video on BBC News shows both a close-up and distance view of the explosion. The Guardian is reporting that NHK is advising residents of the Fukushima area "to stay inside, close doors and windows and turn off air conditioning. They have also been advised to cover their mouths with masks, towels or handkerchiefs" as well as not to drink tap water. Other news agencies have reported information on a definite explosion at the plant. At 1843 JST (0943 GMT) officials have confirmed that an explosion has occurred at the nuclear plant. An increase in radiation levels has been confirmed following the explosion. "Fukushima Prefecture says a radiation level of 1015 mircrosieverts [sic] per hour has been ...
