TEPCO released footage for the first time on Wednesday of the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant Unit 3 reactor's spent fuel pool. The fuel rods, covered in debris from the March explosions, weren't visible in the footage but officials believe they are largely undamaged. In an operation filmed by a robot camera, 40 milliliters of water was collected from the spent fuel pool. The water is contaminated with high levels of radioactive material which needs further analysis for evaluation.

A small group of evacuees have briefly been allowed inside the exclusion zone around Japan's damaged Fukushima nuclear plant. The operator of Japan's troubled nuclear power plant's confirmed two more reactors experienced a partial fuel meltdown at the site. The Japanese newspaper Asahi reports today that data reveals meltdowns occurred at the No. 2 and No. 3 reactors. Engineers at Japan's struggling Fukushima nuclear plant have resumed efforts to remove built-up radioactive water. It comes after a powerful aftershock forced crews to flee the area. On Tuesday Japan raised the nuclear alert around the facility to the maximum level of seven. This puts the crisis on a par with the Chernobyl disaster. Human workers (as opposed to robots) were sent to survey the upper floors of Reactor 1 at Fuku-I on October 18. The workers spent most of their time on the 4th floor, checking the integrity of the pipes for Isolation Condenser system. You do get to see the 3rd and 2nd floors toward the end of the video. Robot workers (like Quince and Pacbots) wouldn't be able to navigate through the debris on the 4th floor. Follow latest updates at twitter.com and www.facebook.com Japanese officials confirm radioactive materials have leaked into the atmosphere following an explosion and fire at reactor number four at the Fukushima power plant. The fire is said to have damaged an area used to store spent nuclear fuel, with reports that staff are struggling to cool it down. The situation at all six reactors is said to be critical after the only two remaining cooling systems failed following the devastating quake and tsunami. The blast at facility number two, which occured this morning, has reportedly damaged the vessel of the reactor. Engineers have been using sea water to cool the reactors in an attempt to avert a nuclear disaster.

On Friday March 10th, when they admitted Cesium had been released into the atmosphere and that seawater was being injected into the core, they knew these reactors (at least 3, probably 6, cores) were going to melt down and they know exactly how bad this is going to get. The world's governments are involved in a MASSIVE COVER-UP and are working together to keep this minimized and secret. Officials and media talking heads are breaking the law and allowing people to die for lack of their info dissemination! Before even the 1st explosion, they admitted that there was a cesium release and that they were using seawater to cool at least 1 reactor core. This meant SPECIFICALLY that they knew a core was breached and that they were desperate to keep that core cool! It is Friday March 25th, now, and they are barely even acknowledging that Japan is about to become a 3rd world country, and half the people in the country will either have to leave Japan or die from a horrible radiation sickness.
