Met this really cool M6 G-power BMW and owner while driving through the dolomite mountains on the way to Germany. We played around for about 60 miles. Well in fact he toyed with my 380bhp ferrari like it was a cat playing with a mouse, showing me very little mercy :-) . As it happens this monster BMW has 750-800BHP!!!!!!! and sounded even more incredible than my capristo equipped Ferrari. Cool!. I have another video of this M6 passing by more slowly in my other youtube vids.

2010 G-Power X5 M Typhoon
G-Power first introduced us to their 600 hp BMW X5 M with "small" Typhoon body kit at the end of last year. Little did we know that the extreme BMW tuner was already working on "bigger" wide body kit. The result, thanks to optimised air flow providing up to 15 percent more cooling, is an increase in power output by 170 PS (125 kW) over the standard X5 M with 555 PS (408 kW) to a total of 725 PS (533 kW). Furthermore, torque is increased up to 890 Nm (series: 680 Nm / 500 lb·ft) at 1500 rpm and top speed is more than 300 km/h (186 mph). 0-100 km/h - 4.2 seconds. Taking full advantage of the increased air flow, G-Power remapped the ECU and added a set of sport catalytic converters and G-Power exhaust manifolds reducing exhaust back pressure. Lastly, G-Power added new connection pipes between the turbochargers and the cylinder heads minimizing pressure and thermodynamic losses. Although torque is electronically limited, the BMW X5 M transmission was also reinforced to handle up to 1000 Nm. The new widebody Typhoon aerodynamics package starts at € 12185. (plus installation in Autenzell) while the power boost to 725 PS is available for €18000.

erman tuning company G-Power claims to have used the BMW M5 to achieve the World's Fastest Sedan record. The G-Power Hurricane RR manages a top speed of 372 km/h (231 mph), roughly the same top speed as the McLaren F1. The car beats the tuner's previous record, set by the M5 Hurricane RS. That car used a 750-hp (551-kW) twin-supercharged V10 engine to hit a top speed of 367.4 km/h (228 mph). However, the new model gets a 6.67-percent boost in power, bringing the horsepower output to 800 (588 kW). The car's engine cranks out 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque, allowing it to spring to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.35 seconds, and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.5 seconds. The car eventually gets to 300 km/h (186 mph) in 25.8 seconds, on its way to its record-setting top speed. Larger superchargers were used with the engine to achieve 25-percent more space for the air volume. Instead of the 20-inch wheels that were initially installed on the €252100 car, engineers decided to use 19-inch wheels for the speed run. The wheels were wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Tires. Sadly for G-Power, it appears that this record could be short lived. The Bugatti 16C Galibier is on the way, with the same 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine as the Veyron, but using superchargers instead of turbochargers. The Galibier should hit the market as a 2013 model year sedan.

Engineers at German tuning firm G-Power have rolled out two vehicles to honor the BMW Motorsport team for their win at the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance race. The G-Power M3 GT2 S targets BMW lovers "looking for a vehicle along the lines of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS," while the G-Power M3 Tornado CS is the "civilian version" of the same car, according to a press release from the company. Both cars are street legal, and both are focused around the €10800 (excl. tax) SK II CS supercharger upgrade, which includes the same compressor as the Alpina B6 GT3, as well as an aluminum airbox, aluminum charge air cooler, and dual flow carbon intake. Meanwhile, a titanium exhaust reduces weight by 26 kilograms. The changes allow both vehicles to see nearly a 43 percent increase in power, with a spec sheet that lists 600 PS (441 kW), and up to 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque. Top speed on the car is 330 km/h (205 mph) when using the seven-speed DCT gearbox, with the six speed manual transmission allowing the car to operate at up to 320 km/h (199 mph). Where the two cars differ substantially is in weight. The GT2 S uses a full carbon-fiber body kit, with replacement parts at the front skirt, each of the wings, and the rear end. The front and lip spoilers are also made from the lightweight material. In total, the M3 GT2 S weighs 150 kg less, despite having the same power output as the Tornado CS. This allows the GT2 S to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, 0.2 seconds <b>...</b>
