This is a Bulgarian Djura Gaida (in D) that i finished making over the weekend. the drone, stocks and blowpipe are made from Myall wood (dense Acacia species) and decorated with artificial ebony. The chanter is made from Thozets Box , a type of eucalyptus species, and decorated with cows horn. the reeds are spanish cane. I am planning on making these for sale if anyone is interested.

Risto calls this "Kucano" and my friend Slavae Aceski (Jandar69) calls it 'Kucano Potrcano', ie a Kucano which runs a little faster. First part is roughly kicica rhythm 7/8 (2,2,3), second part osogovka/gankino rhythm 11/8 (2,2,3,2,2).
