Gaunt was a pop punk band formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1991. The song "Kryptonite" was recorded for Thrill Jockey records, on the album Kryptonite, which was released in 1996. Tragically, lead singer Jerry Wick was killed in January 2001 when he was struck by a car while bicycling home.

At 15, Jay Gaunt from Mahwah, New Jersey is a master of the blues harmonica. It all started when he was 12 and saw the The Blues Brothers movie. Since then, hes shared the stage with some of the greats. In fall 2009, State of the Arts Producer Eric Schultz visited Jay at home, at school, where Jay is on the track team, and on the road, catching him in performance at a recent Cape May Jazz Festival. The show (for those who are interested) was addressing a newspaper article and asking how a seikh gentleman who worked in the police force could still do his job while wearing a turban while his colleagues had to wear helmets (health and safety issues) (note he wanted to join the anti terrorist police, helmet required). callers called in and spoke to Jon about how seikhs had worn the turban in battle during ww2 and jon praised the seikhs for their bravery and service during ww2 etc.

Gaunt "Superman" Video
This rare video was filmed in Columbus, Ohio sometime around 1997. The song title, Superman, is off of Gaunt's album entitled Kryptonite. I apologize for the picture quality as this was captured from a 12+ year old VHS tape. The director, Ed Talavera, was a professor at Ohio University at the time and I believe this was some sort of class project. Hope you enjoy.

Alright! I've been planning this one for years, I'm so glad I finally got to do it! Video banner: i10.photobucket.com This basically just details Merope Gaunt's life and her love of Tom. I thought the song was perfect and I HAD to do it! I hope you guys like it! Basic Plot: Merope has always been hopelessly in love with Tom Riddle, but he has never noticed her. He is also dating a snotty woman. She thinks about him all the time...she can't stop! Eventually Morfin and her disgusting father Marvolo notice it. If she could get Tom to love her, she could get away from them...She then sees Tom with yet another woman! He catches her watching them and she takes off. Later she reads about a love potion, but decides that she couldn't possibly do it. She isn't skilled enough and still, she would hate doing that to someone. She considers running away, but realizes that would mean leaving Tom. Soon her brother and father and taken to prison. Her life is much better, of course, but she is overcome with loneliness. This in conjuction with her love of Tom and her newfound boldness after her family had left results in her decision to make the love potion. She askes Tom if he is thristy, he nodds yes, and the next thing she knows he askes her to marry him! They are happy together and she gets pregent, but she can't keep using the love potion. She is too guilty, and doesn't give it to him. He immediately flees the house and she, incapable of living in a home full of such awful memories <b>...</b>
