George Clooney Reveals What Embarrasses Him at The Ides of March NY Premiere
Hey there, I'm Karli Bulnes. George Clooney had a candid conversation with PopSugar at the New York premiere of The Ides of March last night. Editors Allie Merriam and Lauren Turner were on the red carpet where they got him to reveal a lot more than just movie details. "I'm Lauren and I'm Allie and we're here at the NY premiere of Ides of March and we just talked to George Clooney. He told us the one thing that actually embarrasses him." "Starring in a movie that you're also directing. It's hard to direct yourself in scenes, it's tricky to do, mostly because it's embarrassing as you can imagine, but you just kind of get on with it, the good thing is you can talk to the actors and say look this is going to be a bit of a drag." What wasn't a drag was filming the political flick in Cincinnati, Ohio, where George spent part of his childhood, though this time around, he was doing a different type of work. "yeah well my father was an anchorman in Cincinnati, I knew the area really really well, I worked there plenty, I worked at the ladies shoe store there, and sold men's suits in that area, so I knew most of the locations and I wanted to go back to Cincinnati and work." And with Clooney, with work comes play. The A-list actor is known for his legendary on-set pranks and fun nicknames for costars, though his longtime friend and co-producer on this film said he hadn't yet heard of his.
