Kernel patches for developers here: forum.xda-developers.com After some kernel tweaking, I got the EVO 4G to 1.267GHz, up from the stock 998MHz. Linpack results jumped from ~6.9MFLOPS to ~8.8MFLOPS. That's almost a 30% increase in speed! The SetCPU long benchmark jumped by a substantial amount too! It's a fairly straightforward modification, but overclocking does require a slight voltage increase over stock. Froyo should make this thing a lot faster, and we can even undervolt/underclock to save battery (we all know the battery life on the EVO isn't exactly the best)! This *should* also work on the HTC Incredible, because they both use very similar silicon, but there are no guarantees - the Nexus can't get this high, for example. Thanks to toastcfh for his source, Hero_Over for creating the first booting overclocked kernel on the EVO, all the kernel devs in the N1 community, especially pershoot and kmobs, and richardtrip from the Desire community, and all who helped to root the EVO 4G.

In this video I show how the Hitec module and Optima receivers can effectively work around a strong interfering signal and how, when the conditions are right, the system will also spread itself across more of the band by spacing its 20 operating channels more widely. I also discovered that once the scan mode has configured the channels to be used, switching back to the "normal" mode will mean that the system continues to use those selected channels until such time as you switch back to scan mode. In this video I perform a Crucial Technology Memory Upgrade on the Apple MacBook 2.4GHz White Unibody Mid 2010 model. Wow, Samsung can make 7.7" Super AMOLED Plus screens and this new tablet of theirs is thin and quite light. Not the lightest 7" tablet 335gr as the Archo 70 Internet Tablet released last year is 300gr. Also, while it's thin and light, they did make it slightly wider in size which seems to make it harder to fit it in all the jacket pockets, that's too bad. But, the design is not final, maybe before they release it they manage to cut a few millimeters off the bezel to make it fit in jacket pockets. This tablet runs Honeycomb 3.2 nicely but with some TouchWiz UI customizations, this is no vanilla Android.

Overclocking Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition using the Gigabyte GA-X58A-OC Overclocking Motherboard. We managed to overclock our... boring sample of CPU to 5.8GHz (6-cores/ 12-threads) and to 6.18GHz (6-cores/ 6-threads) using Liquid Nitrogen for cooling. The CPU didn't help at all... but we had a lot of fun!
