New Adventures of Gilligan themes -- rare animation
In 1974, five of the seven castaways from the Gilligan's Island sitcom reunited for an animated series. Those returning are Bob Denver (Gilligan), Alan Hale, Jr. (Skipper), Jim Backus (Thurston Howell, III), Natalie Schafer (Mrs. Howell), and Russell Johnson (Professor). Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) was reportedly touring with stage plays so she couldn't take part. Tina Louise (Ginger) was already trying to distance herself from the sitcom. After the disappointing Brady Kids series, Gilligan creator Sherwood Schwartz insisted on being heavily involved with the series. After years and years of searching, I've had to blend several bits and pieces together to create this video.
