Dead Island - Exclusive First Hands On Preview - Ginx TV

Dead Island will feature open world gameplay, played from a first person perspective, with up to four-player co-operative play in a heavily interactive environment. The focus will be on melee combat, incorporating customizable weaponry, vehicular customization/combat, and RPG elements. There is an experience system and a skill tree system. There is also a stamina bar, meaning that after a set amount of action with a weapon, the character will need to stop to regain their stamina before continuing to attack. It has also been confirmed that there are "special class" zombies, which are more powerful than the standard zombie. Players will need to use flashlights in dark areas and during night time sections throughout the game, adding suspense to the game.[5] Changing seasons have been confirmed to not take place during the game, although a weather system is in effect.[6] Although there is a child being "infected" in the original "Dead Island" trailer, it has been stated that there will be no children zombies in the game. The developers feel that the lack of children adds an element of reality, showing that they "just didn't make it." ---- tags esrb hdxbox 360 ps3 ps2 playstation DS gameboy wii PC games "computer games" "video games" halo mario warcraft dragon war "half life" portal counterstrike minecraft starcraft FIFA PES "pro evo" lego down funny "harry potter" ninja fallout racing "metal gear" battlefield universe "star wars" "dead space" batman arkhum "deus ex" homefront ...

The game is set to be released on October 25, 2011 on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360[4] and EA Mobile confirmed a port for the iOS platform. It is a direct sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2, and the eleventh installment in the Battlefield franchise. Battlefield 3 will feature the maximalist combined arms battles that made the series popular across single-player, co-operative and multiplayer modes. It will reintroduce several elements absent from the Bad Company games, including fighter jets, the prone position and 64-player battles on PC.[5][6] To accommodate the lower player count on consoles, the ground area will be limited for Xbox 360 and PS3, though fly space will remain the same.[7] During an interview with GameInformer Magazine, EA stated that Commander Mode is unlikely to be included,[8] which was met with some criticism on the EA forum.[9] The game will feature maps set in Paris, Tehran, Sarajevo, Sulaymaniyah, New York, Wake Island and Oman.[citation needed] As a whole, combat will take place in urban streets, metropolitan downtown areas, and open landscapes suited to vehicle combat.[10] Battlefield 3 will introduce Battlelog, a free cross-platform social service with built-in text and voice communicator, game ...

Alien Breed Trilogy Review | Ginx TV

Alien Breed Trilogy Review The game was based heavily - and unofficially - on the Alien films, specificially Aliens, and also on the 8-bit-era games Laser Squad and Paradroid (although the game bears some gameplay similarities with Gauntlet, with which it has been compared, as well an obvious comparison with Sega's Alien Syndrome). Alien Breed consists of the player or players having to find the lift down to the next level, occasionally setting the self destruct sequence to blow up the level above them. The players collect or purchase a variety of weapons from the space station's computer terminals. In some versions of the game, these so-called Intex terminals provide additional features such as a clone of the classic computer game Pong. Credits found on the ground have to be saved for these weapons and other enhancements, each giving the players an edge over the gradually more and more powerful Alien forces. In advanced levels, players are occasionally trapped in enclosed spaces with huge "boss" aliens, reminiscent of the Alien Queen. Alien Breed was in many ways a 2D precursor to the popular 1993 FPS Doom[citation needed]. In both games the gameplay invariably consists of clearing each level by rampaging from point A to point B. (The third game in the series, Alien Breed: Tower Assault, introduced non-linear gameplay: some levels are not required to be completed before exiting, and the game can be completed in several different ways).

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Review | Ginx TV | HD

Neil Cole gives his opinions on the HD remake of the seminal title in the Xbox's 10 year history. Review by Laurie Blake. During the Microsoft press conference at the 2011 E3 Expo, it was revealed that Halo: Combat Evolved will be remade by 343 Industries with in-house game engine and released for the Xbox 360 on November 15, 2011. The remake will also include achievements, Terminals, and Skulls. The release date marks the 10th anniversary of the original game's release.[109] The remastered version of the original game will include online multiplayer and cooperative play functionality.[110] It was also confirmed that the remake will feature Kinect support, making it the first Halo game to include Kinect support.[111] The game is a mix of two game engines - the original Halo engine created by Bungie which provides gameplay and a new engine created by 343 and Saber which is responsible for improved graphics - and the players will be able to switch between the improved and classic modes of the game at any time.[112] The game will also be the first in the series to support 3D televisions; however, this will only be available in the improved mode within the game.[113] Ginx.tv - bit.ly Ginx on Twitter - bit.ly Ginx on Facebook - on.fb.me

SSX Todd Batty Interview | EA Showcase | Ginx TV | HD

Ginx.tv - bit.ly Ginx on Twitter - bit.ly Ginx on Facebook - on.fb.me SSX is an upcoming snowboarding video game in the SSX series of video games from Electronic Arts. First revealed at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards under the working title SSX: Deadly Descents, the game's teaser trailer appeared to show a much darker direction to the series than previous entries, which the developers now claim to have been misrepresentative of the actual game.[4] Although it will include the use of real locations and introduce many new gameplay mechanics, SSX will still feature the bright colors and "over-the-top arcadey gameplay" the previous titles were known for. On June 29, 2011, Sony and Nintendo both confirmed that they are testing the game for their new portable consoles. A pre-alpha version of the game was also available to play at San Diego Comic-Con International 2011, where players had the opportunity to win a 2 GB USB flash drive with pre-loaded bonus content. Along with several other new EA Sports titles, SSX will be available three days early to purchasers of the EA Sports Season Ticket.
