Greg Bennett (ex Samick) guitar are cheap clone of Fender and Gibson model, but with some difference and some original model. Despite for their low prices, woods and measure of neck are sometime just excellent and much better than pricey gutar... it's just question to avoid to read names and prices ad use only ears and not eyes (rare to find in... muscians? :) Electronic is cheap but not bad and bridge and mechanics quite good, original Duncan Design of this model (especially bridge) was interesting and all 4 way wired. Pots are shit but cheap to change. Anyway i decide to put better pickup, and to mod obviously. Changing pickup colors, and selector and knob, change the line too and now seem a sort of Santana PRS than a strange Gibson SG and is much better for me. Selector has 2 push pull that mod every pickup from humbucking, single with first coil, single with second coil and parallel humbucking. So 4 x 3 way selector = 12 sounds. Most of sounds are distinctive and very usable, and this guitar excellent in woods and neck now has a versatile set of pickup good for almost anything wont request an extremely high output level (and i'm not interested of this kind of gutar at the moment). Amp is a Cicognani Brutus, an italian brand. It is a good head, i change the 5881 with EL34 that play better for me, and have less the modern tone i don't love very much of this modern concept amp; very rock and hard sounds are welcome here! It's a good compain for a Behringer 412V cab (oh ...
