The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo on the Gong Show. This was seen originally in 1976. This little treasure had been sitting on my shelf for years. I figured all old time Boingo fans may enjoy this. I still have about 25 stubs from all the Boingo concerts I saw, and never missed the annual Halloween show. I grew up in the 80's blasting Boingo music while driving my car. Richard Elfman is in the rocket, and Danny is playing the Trombone. Thanks Oingo Boingo for all the years of great music, there was nothing like it on earth! Mark.

Only the East Coast broadcast included the outrageous "act" on the often-outrageous and frequently questionable "Gong Show". Censors immediately blocked the airing of the clearly over-the-top performance of the "Popsicle Twins" before the show appeared on the West Coast later that day. - Anything inappropriate is in the eye of the beholder. To the conscious mind of a decent citizen, nothing inappropriate at all was going on.
