There are many options for cooking while on the trail. We chose the GSI Bugaboo Hiker mainly because of the price but also because it's big enough to cook for 2 people at once. It's also kind of neat the way it all packs into itself. And it's the one my wife wanted.....when mama's happy, I'm happy.

This is a review of the new GSI Pinnacle Dualist cookset. So far, I think it's a good improvement over the original Dualist, and should serve backpackers well. It can hold a canister stove, a 4oz isobutane/propane canister, and everything else that comes with it, all in one package. For some reason Youtube cut off the top and bottom of the video, so my apologies for some of the items being out of frame. We used the MSR Pocket Rocket Stove on our camping trip to Manistee National Forest in Michigan a couple of years back. It really puts out a strong and solid flame, even in cold, and somewhat windy conditions. It's super-light, weighing about 3 ounces and it packs up real small. You'll have to hook it up to an IsoPro butane canister and it will give you about an hour's worth of burn time. Also demonstrated in this video is our GSI Outdoors Glacier cup, which is an excellent cup that we reviewed previously on our website: tacticalgearhead.com On a side note, the GSI Outdoors Glacier cup is an excellent cup for camping. The handles fold up close to the cup for easy packing and its stainless steel construction is rugged and solid. Though it's a cup, you can see it makes a perfect one-person cooking pot. The stove left no burn marks what-so-ever on the cup.

Key Performer is a new software virtual instrument capable of producing many keyboard sounds using several synthesis types, all in a single easy to use program. And the CPU hit is so "light" that even a 900 MHz EEE PC can run it offering about 100 voices of polyphony. In this video all I'm using is an Asus EEE 904 with WinXP, a Behringer UCA202 USB soundcard with Asio4All 2.9 drivers, an M-Audio Keystation 88es and Key Performer as a stand-alone application. This is a quick review of my GSI Pinnacle Dualist. This is a great cook set for anyone looking for options in their camping cook set. a self contained 4 bowl (or 2 bowls/2 mugs) kit that will hold your stove. The 1.8 liter pot is very nice. I had a 4 minute boiltime for a liter of water, which is awesome
