Robert Haig Coxon, The Light, from "The Silent Path" 1995. This is my very first video, so please don't hesitate to leave a comment, I'm still learning :). I was trying to express the feeling of light but without focusing on it, it's rather a presentiment of the subtle presence of the light everywhere, so gentle and untouchable as all the music of the great Robert H. Coxon. Enjoy!

Γεννήθηκε στην Κοζάνη το 1965. Ξεκίνησε κιθάρα το 1981.Πρώτες επιρροές από παραδοσιακή, τη ροκ και τη soul μουσική. Το 1983 στράφηκε στο ηλεκτρικό μπάσο ενώ τα ακούσματά τoυ κινήθηκαν στο χώρο της Jazz. Μελέτησε Jazz αρμονία και θεωρία με το Θεόδωρο Καπηλίδη. Μαζί με τους Θεόδωρο και Νίκο Καπηλίδη δημιούργησαν το electric jazz trio. Το 1988 φοίτησε στο Musician's Institute του Los Angeles όπου διδάχτηκε την τεχνική του μπασου από μεγάλους δασκάλους, μεταξύ των οποίων ήταν και ο Gary Willis, ο Bob Magnuson και ο Jeff Berlin. Ζώντας εκείνο το διάστημα στην Αμερική , είχε την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσει από κοντά μεγάλους μουσικούς και να προσεγγίσει τη μουσική τους, την τεχνική τους, αλλά και τη φιλοσοφία τους για τη ζωή και για τη σχέση του ανθρώπου με τη μουσική. Παράλληλα με τις σπουδές του, εμφανίστηκε σε πολλές μουσικές σκηνές του Los Angeles. To 1989 αποφοίτησε από Μ . Ι . βραβευμένος ως "The most improved student of the year" ενώ προτάθηκε και ως "the most outstanding player". Με την επιστροφή του στην Ελλάδα εμφανίστηκε με τους electric jazz trio στο Jazz Club "Μαντάτο" στη Θεσσαλονίκη με το σαξοφωνίστα Manny Boyd και τον τρομπετίστα Danny Hayes. Ηχογράφησε με αυτούς δυο δίσκους, έναν με jazz standards και έναν με συνθέσεις του Θεόδωρου Καπηλίδη. Το 1993 ηχογραφεί με τον ισραηλινό κιθαρίστα Lior Yekutelli και τον Ελβετό ντράμερ Mark Halbeer το δίσκο Exit. Την περίοδο αυτή εμφανιζόταν σε διάφορα clubs στην Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη με την Έλλη Πασπαλά και τον David Lynch <b>...</b>

Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig, KT, GCB, OM, GCVO, KCIE, ADC (19th June 1861 - 29th January 1928) was a British soldier and senior commander (field marshal) during World War I. He commanded the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) from 1915 to the end of the War. Most notably he was commander during the Battle of the Somme, the 3rd Battle of Ypres and the series of victories and failures leading to appalling loss of British lives, leading to the German surrender in 1918.
