Ae Ishq Hamein Barbad Na Kar (Nayyara Noor) I became an instant fan of Nayyara Noor sahiba, when I heard her awesome singing of Ae Ishq Hamein.... Sure enough, I was lured to sing it at once... Unable to find track for this geet, I requested Bhupinder Singh Pujji, who very graciously agreed to make the tracks. I am deeply indebted to Bhupinderji, Arvinder ji and the bal-kalakar Suhail for doing a wonderful job on the track.. Here is my rendition of 'Ae Ishq Hamein Barbaad Na Kar'. Written by the poet Muhammad Dawood Khan, popularly known as Akhtar Shirani (was born on 4 May 1905 in Tonk, a princely state in British India (later absorbed into the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, India). Akhtar Shirani is considered one of the main pillars of the modern romantic Urdu poetry. He was called shaair-e romaan (the poet of romance).
