A video about Refugees set to Suheir Hammad's piece on the K-Salaam hip-hop album. The pictures in this video were not taken by me. I only arranged into an original slideshow. The Dafur pictures were from National Geographic: Surviving Dafur: African Refugee Life I had to do some research, but found out that the New Orleans pictures were taken by a photographer named Jacob Applebaum. Thank you to everyone for the positive feedback on this video. I hope to make many more soon. If I find any comments to be offensive to any group of people, I will delete them.

Poet and Author, Suheir Hammad came to many's attention with her performance on Russel Simmons' Def Poetry Jam program and subsequent tour. Her poems are published in several anthologies as well as her own books, BORN PALESTINIAN, BORN BLACK and her latest, ZATAR DIVA. On November 4, 2007, the Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice, Students Educating Students About the Middle East (SESAME, of the Evergreen State College), and Building Revolution by Increasing Community Knowledge (BRICK, of South Puget Sound Community College) sponsored a fund raising speaking engagement for Dahr Jamail and poet Suheir Hammad at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Olympia. *Zatar is a popular staple melange of spices in the Middle East dominated by sumac served often with bread and olive oil.

Morning with Farah Interview with Hammad Azam , Pakistani first-class cricketer. An all-rounder, Azam made his first-class debut in 2008 for Rawalpindi. He had played just six first-class games before being selected in the Pakistan squad for the Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand. He impressed everyone with his performance in the tournament, scoring 173 runs in 6 matches and getting dismissed only once. His unbeaten 92 against West Indies in the semi-final guided Pakistan to the final of the tournament. He was immediately selected in the Pakistan squad for the Twenty20 International against Australia.
