In this video you can see how to tune a glass harp from the beginning to the end. It takes less than 10 minutes. Anybody can do it even if they are not musicians, all you need is a chromatic tuner with built in microphone, this instrument will tell you if the pitch is too high or low, so all you do is adjust the water level until the pitch is correct. Excuse the audio quality, I couldn't bother setting up the studio for this video. I hope you found it interesting or useful.

The key to becoming good at anything, is to practice. There are really no shortcuts. In this video, I'm trying to share my techniques for practicing. This is what works for me. You need to find what works for you. I know I've restated some points from earlier videos, but you know what? They're important points. They never really become any less important: Fundamentals, Practice, Creativity, Relaxing. . . I use a C harp, then (briefly) an F and a G harp. I forgot to mention on tape, that I'll be helping out as a coach at one of Jon Gindick's jam camps (Oct 17 in San Diego). I'm very excited to give some more personal lessons. As far as I know this is the first Harmonia Canon in D on youtube. I am not totally happy with it because of a few mistakes but oh well. Ill try to get a real version with a real piano sometime. I posted this as Canon in D to make finding it easier but it is actually in C and called Variations on the Kanon by George Winston. PS The version I learned is a little shorter than the version that I am playing to, thats why there is some crappy improv at the end....sorry. C harp, Special 20 Please comment
