Gijs records a unique BMW Hartge Z3 Coupé 5.0 V8. Hartge has only built 1 one Z3 5.0 V8, so it's very special to see this car! It has a 5 liter V8 and produces a great sound. I had a nice chat to the owner and he told me a lot about the car. For instance, he told me that he had replaced the original Hartge front bumper with a Z3 M front bumper. Gijs records the one-off by Hartge again. I filmed this BMW Hartge Z3 Coupé 5.0 V8 earlier this year already and had a nice chat with the owner back then. He told me he had a trackday in march and that I would be able to go for a ride with him on the track. So, a couple of weeks ago it was time to visit the TT circuit in Assen, The Netherlands. I had so much fun that day! This car is isanely fast! Loooots of torque! Unfortunately the front right wheel catched some loose rubber after hitting the curbs hard which caused it to shake heavily, so we had to pull over. Luckily the car was ok! Turner Motorsport's Hartge H50 (For sale)
There is only 1 Hartge H50 in the United States and this is it. Less than 10 exist worldwide. The H50 conversion package costs roughly $220000 (new E90 325i included) and takes 7-8 weeks to complete (not including shipping time to Germany). This car was built to be 100% legal in the United States. The HARTGE H50 Conversion is done at the highest quality of workmanship. All factory features are still functioning. All of the practical functionality of a stock BMW has not been compromised during its conversion. The OBD port and factory check engine lights function like stock. "A 200-mph BMW 3 Series is one of those deviant cars that we're just happy to see from time to time. The fact that this one is every bit as easy to live with as the slightly more upmarket M5 makes it the ultimate sleeper." -- Edmunds Inside Line "Beyond such shenanigans, everyday use is absolutely not out of the question. A wolf in sheeps clothing. Hartge takes the already impressive e46 BMW M3 to a whole new level, by replacing its 333hp 3.0 liter inline 6 with it's bigger brother the 400hp/500 Nm TQ 5.0 liter V8 from the M5 backed by a 6 speed tranny with upgraded sports clutch and short shifter. The speed limiter is increased to 200 mph and the Hartge H50 doesn't fall to short of that. To keep that power in check Hartge enlarged the brakes to 15″ discs floating behind 19″ wheels. The exterior is tastefully upgraded with a more agressive hood, front bumper, sideskirts and rear bumper.
