Teri Hatcher
Teri Lynn Hatcher (born December 8, 1964) is an American actress who is best known for her roles as Lois Lane in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, as Susan Mayer in Desperate Housewives and as Paris Carver in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. She won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role as Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives in 2005. In the same year she won the Screen Actor's Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Comedy Series and was also nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, but lost out to fellow cast member and close friend, Felicity Huffman. Hatcher studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater. One of her early jobs (in 1984) was as an NFL cheerleader with the San Francisco 49ers. During this time, she also appeared as one of the mermaids on the television series The Love Boat in its final season. One of her first major roles was Penny Parker, who served as a friend for Richard Dean Anderson's eponymous hero on the television series MacGyver from 1986 to 1989. Hatcher landed a co-starring role of Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane (opposite Dean Cain) in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1993 to 1997. At the height of the show's popularity in 1995, a picture of Hatcher wrapped in a Superman cape was reportedly downloaded on the Internet 20000 times. A forgotten Sonic team game on gamecube? Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is a video game for the Nintendo GameCube that was developed by Sonic Team. It was published by Sega on September 23, 2003 in the North America, and on October 31, 2003 in Europe. The game was released for Windows on March 31, 2006 in Europe. The story begins with a fantasy world (called "Morning Land") becoming overthrown by evil crows. Normally inhabited by happy chicken-people, Morning Land is shrouded in darkness and under the rule of the sinister Dark Raven. After defending a helpless chick from two attacking crows in the human world, Billy and his friends are transported to Morning Land and each endowed with their own chicken suit, giving each the ability to move, use, and hatch giant eggs. Billy, being informed by a "chicken god" that he needed to save the six chicken elders in order to save Morning Land, and to prevent the darkness from spreading to the human world. Recently this week, Long time NHL player Derian Hatcher Announced his retirement from playing hockey. He played for the North Stars/Stars organization, The Detroit Red wings, and The Philadelphia Flyers. Though Hatcher was not known for scoring, he was known for hits, fights, and assists. He was one of the biggest baddest players in the NHL. He is about 6' 5" and 200 + pounds. That used to be the typical hockey player..but times have changed. Derian will be missed by many. He won a Stanley Cup in Dallas in 1999 and is known as the only American Born captain to win the Stanley Cup.
