The way you look tonight

This piece (a trio in the style of Bach) was composed (or improvised?) and played by one of my favorite organists, Hector Olivera, on his LP "Reflections..." Because I wanted to play it myself, I had to transcribed the piece note by note. I am playing my Hammond B-250 organ with MIDI and additional MIDI churchorgan pedals and use Hauptwerk software with Marcussen organ.

La composition d'un tableau- Hector Olivera

C'est un élément primordial de la réussite d'un dessin ou d'une peinture puisque l'éclairage joue un rôle très important dans la perception des couleurs et de leurs niveaux d'intensité. La bonne disposition des ombres et de la lumière repose sur une faculté d'observation qui s'acquiert au fur et à mesure de l'expérience. Lorsqu'il s'agit de créer un dessin de toutes pièces, sans aucun repère existant, il faut alors positionner mentalement la source de lumière et dessiner, pratiquement comme la construction de lignes de fuite en perspective, la position des ombres des objets. On peut s'entraîner à comprendre la diffusion de la lumière en plaçant de petits objets dans une boîte ouverte (par exemple un caisson à tiroirs vide) dans laquelle on déplace une ampoule électrique à différents emplacements, pour voir comment se positionneront les ombres selon l'orientation de l'éclairage.
