Criticism is not really welcome. I realize this video is sloppy and boring for most people. I made it in about 30 minutes and I made it for myself, as well as Ranma 1/2 fans. So if all you want to say is insults, save it, i'll just delete them. Well, here's a little video I brewed up in about 30 minutes time (mostly because I had some issues). I love the series Ranma 1/2. It's by far my favorite manga/anime in the world. This is a small compilation dedicated to Ranma's most powerful attack, the Hiryu Shoten Ha (Flying Dragon Ascension Wave). The move was only used three times in the anime, yet I only have footage for two of the times (the third being from the first movie). I'll just say it right now, this movie is not great, it's not meant to be great... the only reason I put it up is because if you type "Hiryu Shoten Ha" in the search box, nothing comes up. I just thought this epic move needed some recognition. Yes, the clips are in japanese (sorry for you dub lovers). Hopefully youtube will still allow the subs to be readable. I personally dislike the Ranma 1/2 english dubs. I was thinking about putting both the japanese and english versions up of each clip, but I only have the japanese versions. Anyways, in case people don't read the credits: Ranma does not belong to me, it was created by Rumiko Takahashi It also belongs to Viz, Kitty Animation, and others who I cannot remember at the moment.

The deal between Capcom and Moto Kikaku led to the creation of two separately produced Strider Hiryu games in 1989, both of which were released outside Japan under the shortened title Strider. The arcade game, which was first distributed to video arcades in March 1989. The arcade version was only loosely based on the manga and did not follow the same storyline. Instead, Hiryu is sent to thwart Grandmaster Meio, who plots to conquer the world. Hiryu's mission takes him to Kazakh, Siberia, the flying airship Balrog and the Amazon before the final confrontation in the Third Moon, Meio's lair in outer space. There was also a NES game which was based on the manga, though it was a non-linear action-adventure platformer, and it was never released in Japan either. The arcade version of Strider, also gained the license to produce an entirely original Strider game for computer. US Gold's sequel, dubbed Strider Returns: Journey from Darkness (or Strider II, as it was known in the PAL Region), which was released for the Mega Drive and various computer platforms in 1992. In Strider Returns, Hiryu (or Hinjo, as he is alternately referred in the manual) is forced out of retirement once again when his girlfriend Lexia is taken captive by a revived Grandmaster. Strider Returns was poorly received by both critics and fans of the original arcade game, due to its overall quality. The last boss of Hiryu no Ken III, with the ending included. Although Flying Warriors is a hybrid of parts 2 and 3 of the Hiryu no Ken series, storywise it is part 2. For those who can't read Japanese, the characters from left to right in the character select screen are: Ryuhi is Rick Stalker Hayato is well... Hayato Go Wiler is Greg Cummings Syoryu is Jimmy Cutler Jr. Minmin is Mary Lynn My strategies: Keep attacking until your KO gauge hits 100. Then use the Hiryu no Ken if you can. Stick to the same character until you fall below 100 HP, then switch. If your enemy goes in hiding, you'll have to defend with Wiler or Syoryu. Save your magic water for until you're down to Wiler. Keep using him and heal when he falls below 100 HP. And when your characters combine their powers, if the enemy goes into hiding, defend with your 2nd command. This fight is won with that strategy, and with a tiny bit of luck.

Ladies (lol, there are no girls on teh interbutts) and Gentlemen, Luigio MUGEN has returned!!!! Finally, after a month of no battles I have revived the system. The reason for my long absence from MUGEN was an error that occured in the engine in which the CPU characters lost all of their customized AI, making them simple-minded crap characters. So I sulked for a few weeks and went to making SMBZ AMVs and recordings of Marvel vs Capcom before I finally asked for help. It was then that JudgeSpear gave me the best advice (Try re-installing MUGEN). I reinstalled the game and mass moved all of my characters and screenpacks over, but that didn't change anything. It must have been the screenpack, I thought, so i started over, transferred my characters and stages over, and got myself a new screenpack. This is Broken MUGEN 0.99, by far one of the greatest screenpacks I have ever seen. The intro screen is amazing, and the interactivity is made so much better. However, new screenpack means new intro. Therefore, I used the same clips, but changed the song. The new song is "Sixth of June" by It Dies Today. Now on to the match. Strider Hiryu proves his worth to Team Luigio by taking on one of the most hated characters of MUGEN, Sasuke-Kun. However, this new version plays better because his attacks are reduced in power and he doesn't rely on calling out Naruto and Kakashi to mess things up. This finally makes Sasuke-Kun into a competitive character, versus a broken one. Enjoy everyone :D <b>...</b>

Hanzo's battle debut against SyN's Strider Hiryu. We are now very close to our release date and I thought I'd show you guys some last minute action. What you see now is pretty much what you should to expect. This Strider was a pain in my ass. Although the AI was simple to figure out, it was very difficult to keep an offensive game seeing as how I had to defend and counter most of the time since Hanzo's basic attacks are clearly slower than Hiryu's. But that don't mean he can't beat that ass. Hanzo's specials and EX specials came in handy. All in all, this was a good match up. So just in, I got the authors name of the stage. As many of you may know the taiko piece, "Hiryu Sandan Gaeshi", written by Grandmaster Daihachi Oguchi is one of the most well-known and commonly practiced and performed taiko pieces among every level of groups, particularily in North America. Not only is it a piece which is semi-open-source (free to learn, rehearse and perform not-for-remuneration), but it is also the theme piece of the Japan Taiko Foundation and possibly the most well-known taiko piece around the world. The "Hiryu Project": On June 27th, the day of Oguchi-sensei's passing, Osuwa Daiko will perform this piece in celebration of his life and his commitment to spreading taiko around the world. Hello everyone. LuigioSMBZ here with a new fighting video, except it's not MUGEN. This time, it's the actual version of Marvel vs Capcom for the Arcade machines. I got it through the MAME emulator and have recorded it on my computer. In this video, I have Strider Hiryu and Ryu join forces to take on the rest of the competition and the dreaded Onslaught. But this video is only the first half of it. There are some things I would like to explain. First, the video would never fully record if I played it throughout the whole run, so there were times when I had to purposefully stop. These are most visible when my assist character in the main fight is different than the one that was chosen before the round began. This is the intro sequence for the PC Engine CD-ROM version of Strider Hiryu. The cinemas are neat and the CD music is good, but the game itself is pretty lousy. Not to say anything bad about the classic arcade original, but the port is poor... glitchy graphics and lots of flickering sprites. Pity, as it actually has a bonus stage or two, which are exclusive to this version of the game.

The first one can do up to 1.1 mil with no meter. It kills Wesker in the video but you can add a slide or final Formation B to break over 1 mil against characters like Chris, Task etc. The second one against Hulk builds the meter you need to kill him with a little bit extra left over. This is the second part to the video of Strider Hiryu and Ryu's story mode to get to the dreaded Onslaught. The only thing I'll say about this one is my first strategy against Onslaught. The low-blow attacks may seem like I'm just spamming them, but Onslaught has very few points on him where he will flinch, so this is one of the best ways to attack him. The second form requires me spamming Hadoukens with Ryu, but again, it's very necessary because I had to try to face this Mother F****** more than 15 times before I could figure out a strategy to beat him.
