My friend Garry and I often went for rides along Route 23 from his house in Jewett out to Stamford, and along many of the side roads. This video was from the last ride we took together on May 5, 2011. I wanted to record all the places we often went to, so that during his illness we could look at the video together at times. When I got home and looked at the video clips, I discovered that I really enjoyed all of Garry's comments as we rode. Because Garry was taking medications for his pain, my wife had told me "don't let him drive you anywhere". So I drove Garry's car on this trip, and for most of the trip I had my iPhone balanced on the steering wheel to record the video (Garry commented many times on my driving technique). You never know in life when you are doing something for the last time, so I am really glad that I recorded this ride.
