Please read the description below: This is a Finnish folksong, though the Swedes think it´s theirs.... but it is actually from Åland, and that belongs to Finland, my origin country,- it is called "vem kan segla förutan vind" and translated "who can sail without wind" (logic...;) I first recorded/played the tune into the Orla - i used the style "modern 3/4" - this is my rendition, with my own addition of the middle part, - and yes, i recently bought this melodica, and now my first tune, i have played flute earlier, but this is different, though the flute is harder. and, as said sorry for the bad sound/pic quality, depending on the old cam i have, it doesn´t like the high pitched sounds, like cymbals :( - next time i´ll play bagpipe, JUST KIDDING! First recorded/played it into the sequencer of the Orla. NO backingtracks used! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- about melodica: for many, considered as a toy instrument, and there are indeed cheap melodicas for children, but there are also pro models that cost up to 600-700 euros! the Hammond Melodion 44 HP, as one of the the top models, go and look in my favourites and you will find some nice melodica clips, "jazzman1945", Federico Pena, Tony Monaco - i must also mention the Mylodica, made by Sound Electra, "twin cities" in the states, it has a wooden casing.
