Here's a test of the RAM motorcycle handlebar camera mount. It works well, even on my FXR, which vibrates a lot. The RAM motorcycle handlebar camera mount uses a ball joint system, which allows you to position the camera in just about any angle, which means you can shoot in any direction. It's also fairly easy to loosen it up and change the camera angle while riding your motorcycle. Overall, I'd say the RAM motorcycle handlebar camera mount is a nice camera mount, and it's definitely very sturdy and well constructed. California Flood! When it rains hard in Manhattan Beach, California, Polliwog Park gets flooded. This time it's flooded all the way up to the little league baseball field. It's supposed to rain for a few more days too. There are big pumps working to drain off all of the extra water, but they can't pump fast enough to stop the flood. I thought I'd capture it on video in case the city ever gets pumps that can keep the pond from flooding. The floods are a tradition, and we like to go down and see the flooding whenever there is a big winter storm.

Here's how to replace the clutch and primary chain on a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle. See my Bullet at www.hoohoohoblin.com It was difficult to get everything to fit in a 10-minute video. My Royal Enfield Bullet 500 had some broken rollers on its primary chain, and the clutch was slipping, so I replaced both of them. It's easy to do and parts are cheap, so I'd recommend doing both if you're going to be doing work on one or the other. The whole job is easy and can be done in an afternoon if you have the right tools. I could have used a clutch hub puller, but my clutch hub was worn out and needed to be replaced, so I used a big caveman tool to remove it, which bent it out of shape. I replaced the clutch hub and basket with the Miracle Clutch from Nfieldgear, and I fitted it with 3 normal clutch springs and 3 heavy duty clutch springs. I was told by someone that I could fit 5 friction plates into the clutch, but I tried it and there was no room, so I went with 4, which is the standard setup for a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 classic motorcycle. The truth is that Harley-Davidson Sportster and Big Twin Engines since the early 1980s have been built with hydraulic lifters in the valve train, which means that you never have to adjust the valves. They stay adjusted automatically. I made this video because I'm sure there are people in the world who just bought their first used Harley-Davidson, and they want to do all of the necessary maintenance but don't know anything about the engine. If you're one of those people, you'll soon appreciate the low-maintenance design of the Harley Davidson motorcycle. No valve adjustments. Belt drive that lasts way longer than a chain. You do have to adjust the primary chain occasionally. You can watch my other videos to see how.

Here's how to tune up a Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle. I go over the static method of setting the point gap and ignition timing. This is the tune-up procedure recommended by the Royal Enfield company. To set the point gap, remove the points cover and turn the engine around until the points are open their widest. Then set them to .40 mm, making sure the feeler gauge goes in and out with a little bit of resistance. Setting the timing is outlined in the video. I used the official Royal Enfield tool to measure the height of the piston, and then set it so that the points close at .8 mm before top dead center. This is a good time to examine your spark plug and clean or replace it. Once you've done this tune up to your Royal Enfield Bullet, take your Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle for a ride to check for any loss of power or pinging from the engine. The Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle www.hoohoohoblin.com comes with a crankcase breather condenser oil catch tank hooked up to the crankcase breather valve. When the crankcase breathes, air is vented out through a tube from the crankcase into the Royal Enfield Motorcycle's crankcase breather condenser oil tank, and along with the air, there is a little bit of oil. This oil builds up in the tank and eventually needs to be drained. This video shows how to drain the crankcase breather condenser oil catch tank on a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 motorcycle. If you don't drain the tank regularly, the engine can suck oil into the intake from the catch box, which is bad and messy.

Here's how to adjust the rear brake pedal level on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. You can see more about my FXR at hoohoohoblin.com. Setting the brake pedal level on your motorcycle increases your comfort and a safety. If the brake pedal is too high, you will ride with your foot next to the pedal, and when you need to stop, you have to lift your foot up, slide it over the pedal, and push down. If you know how to adjust the the pedal downward, you will be able to ride with your foot on the motorcycle's foot peg with your toes right over the rear brake, and when it's time to stop, you just roll your foot forward. This isn't just a Harley-Davidson how-to video. Most motorcycles have a similarly adjustable rear brake pedal. Take the time to make this change, and you'll be more comfortable riding your motorcycle, and when it's time to panic stop, you'll stop quicker. Ride Safe!

Here's how to adjust an Evolution Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle primary chain. www.hoohoohoblin.com is where you can see more about my Sportster-Engine bikes. Adjusting the primary chain tension and changing the fluid is really easy to do, and you can see everything involved in this video. If you have a 2002 or older tube-framed Buell motorcycle with the Harley Davidson Evolution Sportster Engine, this will work for you as well. Just open the inspection hole, measure the gap, crank the engine over 5 or 10 times and measure to see if there is less than 1 inch of play at the tightest point with the engine cold. It's really easy to do, and these chains don't stretch much, so most of the time you won't need to adjust it. To change the oil, drain it, and then dump in a quart. I show you how to check the Evolution Sportster primary fluid in this video, but if you're changing the oil you don't need to check it. Just put in a fresh quart of Harley-Davidson Sportster primary oil after you drain it. I hope this helps you learn to do this yourself. It's simple, and you'll save a lot of money on service.

Not memories of being stranded by the side of the road, or electrical problems, of the exhaust pipe vibrating itself loose and falling off, or of not being able to get it started. I bought a BSA Lightning basket case a couple of years ago to relive the British Twin experience, but ended up selling it when I realized I just didn't have time to put it all back together and get it on the road. Here's how to install an LED brake light bulb on a motorcycle. See all my motorcycles at hoohoohoblin.com The taillight on my Buell Cyclone stopped working, so I decided to replace the bulb with an LED brake light bulb, # 1157. The Buell only has one tail light bulb, so if it burns out, I'm invisible from behind in the dark. I decided to replace the incandescent bulb with an LED bulb because LED light bulbs are much more shock resistant and less likely to malfunction. They're affordable now too. I paid $16.99 for a set of two at an auto parts store. They used to be really expensive. In this video I also show how my Harley Davidson FXR was converted so that the rear turn signals are also running lights. This is a worthwhile conversion, as it makes the motorcycle much more visible at night, and you are still visible if one or 2 other bulbs burn out. To do it, you need to wire up the back turn signals with 1157 bulbs. You can do this by installing front turn signals on the back. The front turn signals are also running lights. I'm not sure if it is officially legal to have your rear turn signals converted to running lights, but I've never had a problem. Safer is better.

This is one of the last tube-framed Buell Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and it is the best of the early Buell, with the best engine, redesigned motor mounts, and a tachometer. The Buell cyclone is the old man's sportbike, comfortable enough to ride all day, and sporty enough to be really fun in the corners. Erik Buell was serious about designing an all-around great motorcycle, and the Buell Cyclone is just that. It is a sporty standard bike built for the real world. Comfortable seat, 5-gallon tank, low-maintenance Evolution Sportster engine, lots of torque, smooth on the freeway, adjustable suspension, low center of gravity, an all-around great American motorcycle. Here's how to adjust the primary chain on a Harley-Davidson Evolution Big Twin motorcycle. See my FXR at www.hoohoohoblin.com Inspecting and adjusting an Evolution Harley-Davidson Big Twin motorcycle engine primary chain is pretty simple, and you don't need any fancy specialized tools to do it. You might as well change the primary oil while you're in there as well. To adjust the primary chain, remove the shift lever if your bike has one that passes through the primary chain case, remove the left foot peg, remove the primary chain inspection cover, and then measure the deflection of the chain to make sure it is between 5/8" and 7/8" (16 to 22mm) at its tightest point. You'll need to rotate the primary chain and check it a few times to find the tightest point. Harley-Davidson primary chains sometimes wear unevenly, so it is important that you check tension of the primary chain in different positions. To tighten the primary chain, loosen the nut on the motorcycle's primary chain tensioner and move it upwards. then tighten the nut and measure the chain deflection again. Once you've adjusted it properly, replace the inspection cover. Harley-Davidson mechanics told me that putting some silicone on the o-ring on the plastic tube the gear shift rod passes through will stop the primary oil from leaking out near the shifter, so I recommend doing that when you put it back together. If you use silicone, make sure you allow enough time for it to dry before you take your Harley <b>...</b>

My Harley Davidson Motorcycle www.hoohoohoblin.com is a great machine. It is a 1991 FXLR Low Rider, and it's a great example of the FXR series of motorcycles, which featured a super strong frame with a rubber mounted Big Twin engine. The FXR series was replaced by the Dyna series of motorcycles, which offer a similar experience, but weren't as well designed as the FXR Harley Davidson Motorcycles. People who love Harley Davidson motorcycles rarely tell you specifically what's so great about them. That's understandable. Every motorcycle is an image vehicle, and many people ride Harleys for emotional reasons. That being said, modern Harley Davidson Motorcycles are reliable, super-low-maintenance, comfortable transportation for a number of reasons. No valve adjustments means you save a lot of money and time on service, and your valves are always properly adjusted. The drive belt rarely needs adjusting and lasts forever. Compare that to the price of a new chain and sprockets every 20000 miles. Gas mileage is pretty good too. If you see a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for sale near you, but you don't consider yourself a Harley rider, take another look. They cost more than a Japanese cruiser, but the resale value will be there forever whenever you want to sell it. I looked up Motorcycle Parking on the LAX, Los Angeles International Airport website and found out that they allow motorcycles to park for free in the parking structures across the street from the terminals. This is as close as you can get to the terminal. They say you should ride your motorcycle around the entry gate, and don't get a ticket from the machine. When you are leaving, the person collecting money at the exit booth will tell you to drive around the gate, and you can go home. I just got back from a 5-day trip, and the free parking saved me money and allowed me to get right to my vehicle and get out of the Los Angeles Airport. If you live in a different city, check with your local airport to see if they have free parking too. I doubt there is much crime in an airport with all the security, but I advise you to bring your least valuable motorcycle when you go to the airport. Here's a quick look at the 2012 Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycles for sale by dealers in California. New to the Royal Enfield Motorcycle lineup is the 500 Bullet B5, the black bike in this video. Jeep made a specail Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 MW3 edition. It is a nice Jeep, but I wouldn't want to take it to war. This is a review of the Brookstone U Control Radio Controlled Helicopter. It retails for $59.99, and if you pay the extra $6 for the 2 year warranty, Brookstone will replace it for free if it breaks. It flies better than any radio controlled helicopter we've tried before. It hovers well and goes where you tell it to. The new 2012 Triumph Thunderbird Storm Motorcycle is a BIG bike! They've followed the current trend and blacked out almost everything on the Triumph Thunderbird Storm motorcycle to make a serious visual statement, and it looks great. Compared to the smaller Triumph twins, the Thunderbird Storm is gigantic. The engine is 1699 cc, which is about twice as big as Triumph's smaller twin motorcycle engines, but not as big as the big Triumph triple. It weighs 746 pounds wet. The Thunderbird Storm looks great, and I expect it will claim a good-sized piece of the motorcycle cruiser pie.

Here's how to use an iPad 2 to edit MP4 HD video from a GoPro Hero video camera. To do this, you will need the Apple iPad Camera Connector kit and iMovie. You also need to update your iPad operating system to iOS5. I tried doing this before I updated, and iMovie wouldn't allow me to edit the video. Now it works great. You can add voiceovers, titles and sound effects. It's pretty neat. If I were traveling and making videos, I'd bring the iPad instead of a laptop. You can also upload video directly to YouTube from the iPad.
