Not only does it add style, but it will keep bangs and front hair from falling in your face. Step 1: Gather Materials To French braid your short hair, you'll need: * A comb * Clips * Bobby pins Step 2: Section Hair First section off the part of the hair in the front where you want to braid. Start the section right off of the part. It's important to clip away the hair you're not working with. This will keep it out of the way and prevent outside pieces from mixing into the braid. Step 3: Braid Hair Now you can start braiding your section. Divide the section into three even parts as you would a normal French braid. However, for short hair you will use an underneath braid instead of a regular one. For an underneath braid, weave each piece of hair underneath the middle section rather than over it.
