How To Make Rainbow Cookies!

This recipe makes about 60 cookies. These not-too-sweet cookies are soft with a slight crunch and have just a hint of cream cheese flavour in them. They stay fresh in a cookie jar or container for quite a while. You can use any cookie dough recipe that is labelled "refrigerator or icebox" or that in the instructions you must roll, refrigerate and slice prior to baking. The dough is sticky and need to be chilled to work with. ***Dough will be sticky, you will wonder how in the heck you will manage it, but keep chilling it and it will be fine ***** 1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup shortening 1- 3 oz package cream cheese softened 2/3 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1/2 tsp almond extract (or vanilla extract or any other extract you want to try) 2 cups all purpose flour Combine butter, shortening and cream cheese in a large bowl, beat together until smooth. Add sugar and salt. Beat until combined. Beat in egg and almond extract until combined and gradually add the flour beating until combined. Form dough into a ball with your hands, if it is super sticky, put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Turn dough out onto countertop and form a long log shape divide the dough into 6 portions. I initially divided the dough into five portions and then took some dough off each piece for the sixth one. Each portion should be slightly larger (by, lets say 20%) so you have a range in sized from smaller to larger. Sorry, I don't have a better description of this process or better ...

Vegan No Bake Cookies Recipe - HeyThatsMike TyBoze - No Hacer Galletas pas des biscuits

Vegan No Bake Cookies Recipe - HeyThatsMike TyBoze Vegan No Bake Cookie Recipe requested by HeyThatsMike. When I searched for recipes and videos, I saw that our friend Tyboze made these before, so these are also for him! Vegan No Bake Cookies Recipe Ingredients: 1 ½ cup white sugar ½ cup almond milk ¼ cup earth balance margarine 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ cup peanut butter 3 cups quick cooking oats How to: In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, almond milk, margarine, and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Once well combined, stir in the quick cooking oats. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper, and place the mixture onto it by the tablespoon. Leave about an inch in between, because they do spread a little. Refrigerator for at least an hour, or until they have set. Enjoy, they really taste like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to me. Thanks HeyThatsMike for the idea and Thanks Tyboze for demonstrating how to make No Bake Cookies, peanut butter and chocolate flavor.

How To Make An Oreo Cookie Crust

SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS bit.ly Mahalo cooking expert Stacey Hicks shows you how to make an Oreo cookie crust. What You'll Need --------------------------------------------------------------------- * 1 1/2 cups finely crushed Oreo cookie crumbs (approximately 20 to 22 cookies) * 3 tbsp butter, melted * Resealable plastic bag * Hammer * Mixing bowl * Wooden spoon * Pie tin or cake pan 1. Place one row of the cookies into a resealable plastic bag on a flat surface. Pound them with a hammer until crushed into crumbs. It is easier to crush the cookies when there is a smaller amount in the bag. Measure out one and a half cups. 2. Mix the Oreo cookie crumbs and butter in a bowl with a spoon until they're properly mixed and have a consistent texture. 3. Use your fingers to press the crust into into a pie plate or springform pan. 4. If you're baking the filling in the crust, there's no need to bake the crust first. If you're filling the crust with a cream filling that's just being chilled, you'll want to bake the crust for 10 to 15 minutes at 350 °F (177°C) until crispy before filling. Baking the crust helps to keep it firm when the pie is cut. Substitutions and Variations --------------------------------------------------------------------- * To make a mint Oreo cookie crust, add a half a teaspoon of mint extract to the melted butter before mixing with the crumbs. This dessert could also go well with other minty desserts like mint nanaimo bars. * Another option is a ...
