You will need a 3.8 mm secruity bit. I got mine off of ebay. You will also need a size 0 philips screwdriver but a size 1 might work. Just a small screwdriver. Use rubbing alcohol to clean off the golden tabs. If its really dirty use an eraser to clean it off. Be sure to not break the plastic tabs. Now you can sell your games on Ebay to make money. Don't throw out your dirty video games because they are easily cleaned and can be resold to game stores or on the internet. Some games are collectable and are worth a lot! katiepatton.com

Once you have fixed your games you can sell them on EBay or play them yourself. The same 3.8 mm bit will work on SNES and N64 games. Some NES games have different screws then the star-like 3.8 mm bit. I think you can get those off with a size 0 phillips screwdriver or a flathead. You will need: -a dirty cartridge -rubbing alcohol -an a few Q-tips Most cartridges stop working because they have dirty pins or your console is dirty. I will show you in a later video how to clean your consoles. DO NOT USE RUBBING ALCOHOL ON DS GAMES!

This is just me showing you guys how I clean my Nintendo Entertainment System game cartridges. In Part 2, I will test my games to see if all this paid off. Note: This is my very first tutorial! So go easy on the comments, and NO I am not lying. So, don't accuse me of being a liar if this does not work with your NES games! If it doesn't work, then try again or get a new 72 pin connector for your NES. And if neither of those work, then your only hope is to have the system, and maybe the games too, refurbished. Materials you will need: Game(s) you want to clean, Windex (I used glass cleaner in the video), cotton swabs, and some paper towels depending on how many games you are cleaning. How to clean the game(s) 1. Spray windex (glass cleaner) into the game cartridge. 2. Use paper towel to wipe any messes on the outside of the cartridge. 3. Rub cotton swab against chip inside cartrige. 4. Be sure to get both sides of the chip for best results. 5. When inside of the cartridge is dry, that means that you are done. Note: Be sure to test your games afterwards to make sure they worked, if games don't show up on screen, try again. Note: Repeat process on any other games that might need cleaning. 8/16/10 Update: How could such a simple tutorial become my most popular video?! I can only think of two reasons for this impossibility? One, it's hard to find videos like this. Or two, I get a lot of comments pointing some hilarious closed captions, that's probably the real reason lol.
