In this announcement, HP said they will be killing the TouchPad, a recent tablet that ran on WebOS and was supposed to compete with the iPad and other tablets. Also, they said that they will be swaying away from WebOS but, if a company wishes to put it on their phone they will provide it. Personally, I thought the TouchPad was awesome and very interesting. I like trying out other things that don't run on iOS. But, in the long run a company needs to make cuts according to the profit margins they make and I think this was smart.
