This bad boy is a 22" thick crust pizza with as described on their website "too many toppings to list". At the time of the filming the challenge was currently undefeated. The pizza was cut into 14 slices, so 7 slices a person and we had 45 minutes to down the pie. Winners get the pizza free, a T-shirt, name and picture on a plaque on the Wall of Fame, and two $25 gift cards. A nice prize! Polito's Pizza with four locations in WI off something called the " Polito's Monster Pizza Challenge". Its current record stands at over 500 wins and 1 losses against all challengers. The Monster Pizza consists of 5 pounds of dough, 1 pound of Pepperoni, 2 pounds of sausage, 2.5 pounds of cheese, and 1.5 pounds of sauce. Teams of two have one hour to consume the entire pizza in order to win the prize. No restroom trips or vomiting are allowed. Successful teams are awarded with $500. Teams that fail must pay $49.95. On day 37 of touring Colorado, Ryan visits the historic Sink Restaurant - located on the Hill in Boulder, Colorado, across the street from The University of Colorado. So as my second challenge on my trip down to SoCal, i disided to attempt with a friend Red Devil Pizza's 28" Challenge, and attempt to beat the record which was set by a team including the best ben monson.
