bounding I did the circuit 2 times and then the hurdle series two and a half times, until something bad happened. In a typical workout, the bounding circuit can be done for 30-60 meters and done 1 to 3 times depending on the experience levela and work capacity of the athlete. This is a preparation style workout, and may be too heavy of a load or too far of a distance for in-season work.

A good single leg plyometric exercise, because the hurdles force the ground contact time to decrease. The torque moments of the ankle are also quite ridiculous. This is only my second session doing these this year, so my form has been a little sloppy still, and I am only using 30 and 33" hurdles.

Penultimate Drill for the Jumps - Emphasizes last 2 steps being quick off the ground. Arms move through full range of motion just like the legs should. Make sure to look up, and do NOT bend at the hips. I use broken hurldes on the lowest setting that does NOT have the hurdle barrier attached, I removed them (athletes will land on the hurdle). x25 total take-offs.
