VW See Film Differently ident: Dudeism
VW continue their support of Independent Cinemas with a new set of idents that will screen in cinemas from 14 August 2009. Ad agency DDB worked with Moxie Pictures and director Seth Gordon (King of Kong) to find three stories that testify the power of film. In this film we see an evangelist of Dudeism - a way of life derived from watching The Big Lebowski.

Minimax ID [1996] "Minimax was broadcasted in Spain in the mid 1990s and encrypted using the Nagravision encryption system from the SES Astra Satellites 1B and 1C at 19.2 degrees east. The channel was part of the Canal Satellite España channel bundle, which included CineMania, CineClassics, Documania and later SportMania. In 1996, Minimax began airing "Nickelodeon en Minimax", a small segment of Nickelodeon branded programmes with Spanish dubbing, including Ren and Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life. Adelphoi: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC HD Idents
Creating the ident audio for The National Geographic HD channel was a real collaborative venture as we where involved throughout the entire pre-production process. The challenge was to create an identity for the channel that took advantage of the intrinsic benefits of HD - great pictures and great sound. Our objective was to present the world in a way that has never been seen or heard before with a contrast of the hyper real and reality. This and was achieved visually through shooting at 2000 fps and creating what we've coined the 'selective audio microscope' - hearing everyday sounds in an selective expressionistic way.

Channel 4 -- April Fools' Day idents
C4 celebrated April Fools' Day 2011 by sneakily removing the 4 logo from their idents. In all, four "clean" versions of the regular idents were used throughout the day: Downtown (New York), Diner, Tokyo and Docks.

"Retro" BBC1 Ident (Life on Mars)
The BBC has not wavered from their 70's theme when its comes to the promotion of Life on Mars which started its second and final season in the UK. While the beeb recently relaunched its BBC One idents, they took the ingenious step of having you "tune in" to the BBC of the 1970's, idents and all, for their broadcast of the premiere episode.
