This is a video that I've been meaning to put together for a week or so, and finally got round to doing it. With the continued emergence of DJ apps on iDevices, i wanted to explore the potential of using iDevices in a DJ environment and how such a setup would look and feel. In this video I've used a Gemini FX7000 3 channel mixer, iPad 16GB, iPhone 16GB 3GS, Djay for iPad, iDJ NOW and various cables. Whilst I do love the compactness of this setup, I wouldn't be prepared to use it at a gig, quite yet. There are some issues which need to be overcome first, both by the Apple and app developers. Oh and no, I am not a beta tester for any app developers, so there is no bias towards these apps. Anyway, I hope the video isn't a waste of 16 mins of your life...
