America's Got Talent Review - Season 6, Episode 17, August 2nd, 2011. (8/2/11) Team iLuminate had the best performance tonight, with Fatally Unique also standing out. SHOW BREAKDOWN: Kinetic King - Although it took him 40 hours to set up his kinetic piece for tonight, it didn't work as planned. I feel terrible for him. Zuma Zuma - This group of acrobats included two poles in their performance tonight, executing great moves such as back flips off of the top of the poles and smooth choreography. Avery and the Calico Hearts - The group's first duet on the big stage was hit and miss for me. I would enjoy them more if the whole thing didn't seem like a main singer and two backup vocalists. Charles Peachock - The juggler tried something new by juggling tennis balls and bouncing them off of a piano to play "Jailhouse Rock" perfectly. Very fresh. Sam B - His energetic dancing came with an 80's theme tonight, along with the song "The Club Can't Handle Me." Taylor Davis - The singer may have cost himself a spot in the next round by picking a relatively unknown song, despite singing it rather well. Melissa Villasenor - The comedienne mimicked Drew Barrymore Owen Wilson, Sharon Osbourne, Mariah Carey, and Judy Garland. While entertaining, I felt that it was too much like her audition. Scott Alexander - The magician showcased a classic disappearing act, but with the twist of using a full gospel choir. Fatally Unique - Rocking a war theme, the dance crew's timing was phenomenal.
