Sheikh Abdul Rehman Sudais, The grand Imam of Masjid-al-Haram, Visited India to attended the Azmat-e- Sahaba conference, organized by Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind at the Ramlila Grounds in Delhi on 26-03-2011. Where Shaikh Sudais First paid a historic visit to Darul Uloom Deoband on 25 March 2011 Friday. His helicopter landed in Deoband at 12:15 pm. The Imam was received by Maulana Ghulam Muhammad Vasyanvi, Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani and other senior members of Darul Uloom Deoband. About 10 Lakhs of Muslims from different parts of the country thronged the prestigious Darul-Uloom seminary in Deoband to participate in the Friday prayer led by the Imam of the Masjid-e-Haram in Makkah. The campus of Darul Uloom Deoband which is spread in more than 2 skm was full of namazees.
