Epidaurus Festival 2009: Dino Imeri

'The Young Talents' part of the programme of the Epidaurus Festival -- the international cultural project at the very south of Croatia -- is among its most important ones and will feature a performance by Dino Imeri (1990). This young Macedonian pianist is in his second year at the Academy of Music in Skopje in the class of prof. Boris Romanov. Dino, who comes from the family of musicians and is a recipient of many national and international awards, will perform in Cavtat on August 30, 2009. His choice of the recital material suggests that he has both talent and musical maturity. (Introductory text written by Ivana Marija Vidović) www.EpidaurusFestival.com

Adi Imeri - 'Round Midnight by Thelonius Monk

This is me playing Monk's " 'Round Midnight" on the classical guitar at a concert I had at the Music Academy in Skopje, Macedonia. In the jazz tradition, this is a head-improv-head form with a few departures here and there. I decided to play this tune about 10 minutes before I went on, so I hope you enjoy it! ;)
