More OPL2 goodness! After seeing how terrible the timings were in my IMF player, I've decided to do it the proper way: by using PC's timer 0. So now the timings are accurate. Also, the program doesn't fuck up the "time of day" clock as an added bonus! :) The keyboard input routine was changed from KEY ON events (that don't work too well) to classic INKEY$ polling. I've named the player "imfplay" and decided to release it to the public. So if you're interested, you can download imfplay at software.kvee.cz Man, QuickBasic sure is fast to program in, but i really miss the unsigned integer data types. The video shows the channel muting abilities of imfplay and then plays a few songs from Spear Resurrection. In other news, I finally got an actual opl2 chip, so if everything works, expect a video soon.
