Weapons of the Imperium: Bolter
Warhammer 40000 simulation of the operation of a bolt round. This video is meant as education for new players of the WH40K tabletop game. The concept of the Astartes Boltgun is a little confusing when first encountered, many believe it to be a large submachine gun. Several video games have helped to cement this common misconception. The work was created for a digital simulation class. It is the creators hope to revisit this work in the near future. Hopefully better narration, sorry folks for now your stuck with me, and some smoke and fume vfx will be added later. Complete transcript... The Boltgun or Bolter is the hallmark weapon of the Imperial Space Marine. It fires mass reactive bolts. This ammunition makes a mockery of light and medium personal armor and its explosive warhead causes extreme damage. The bolt is no mere bullet. It is a highly complex munition. The primary components of the bolt are its main kick charge. The rocket fuel required to speed to its target and the main explosive charge which is triggered by a mass reactive detonator cap. A depleted metal core which allows it to pierce armor and an adamantine tip. The rifling on the outer casing of the bolt begins a spinning process. A series of four angled rocket ports on the back of the bolt create a gyroscopic spinning effect. This allows the round a very flat trajectory and extreme accuracy. Once the round has pierced its target split second later it explodes causing massive cavitation. As you have just <b>...</b>

Imperium (SNES) Final Battle + Ending
Final battle & ending for the shmup, Imperium on SNES. I'll admit I did cheat to get to the end boss, this game is freaking hard, even on easy. You get one life (you can take up to 5 hits with that life but your weapons get weaker when you get hit)and thats supposed to last the whole game. But...in the final battle the whole cheating thing doesn't really show, I got tons of special attacks and I don't even use them. He's easy for the first half of the fight but it gets annoying. I haven't gotten the hard difficulty ending myself yet but clownjeans decided to step up to the plate and let me post some pics he took of it. smg.photobucket.com Also I didn't do any real research about it but from what I seen this game seems to be a part of the Android Assault games.
