Here's what CCP Atropos said about this on official forums: "I'm not involved with the project, but I remember a fellow dev posting a link (or maybe it was at Fanfest, I forget) detailing the hows and whys of this. Currently all ships that can fit a turret require nothing more than the turret being reskined (although that in itself is no mean feat!) however for missile bays to be shown requires more significant rework. For one, it requires the game engine to handle missiles differently with their trajectory being sourced from their respective launchers. This means touching the physics simulation a not inconsiderate undertaking in itself. Secondly every ship with a missile launcher spot must be revisited and edited to remove 'fake' missile bays, such as the Drake, Crow and many other Caldari ships have. This means extensive remodelling time. All the other missile capable ships must be modified to have sensible placement areas for missile lanuchers either added (again more editing of models and textures) or designated. We <b>...</b>

Here is my first experience with the new EVE Online: Incarna features on the Duality test server. Sorry for all the creepy breathing. Feel free to make fun ;) There is no new log in screen yet. The controls felt a bit jerky and difficult to work with. The textures aren't quite right yet either. These are Minmatar Captain's Quarters despite being in an Amarr Station. Minmatar quarters were the only quarters currently available at the time of this video's creation. Sorry for saying it wrong.

Thousands of players gathered in protest today for several reasons, all of which related to the recent Incarna expansion. Some are upset over the lack of content in a full fledged expansion. Some are upset about their computers overheating. The vast majority are upset about the new cash for game items store CCP added. Items in the store range from $30 to $80 in cost at present moment. To make matters worse, an internal CCP memo titled "Greed is Good" and discusses all the ways the developers can exploit players for money was leaked. CCP has responded to complaints with a blog in which they defend their position that people pay up to $1000 for designer Jeans. This has only inflammed players even more. This video shows hundreds of protesting players shooting an invulnerable structure in Jita, the most popular trade hub in the EVE universe. The system is so full of players CCP keeps shutting down gate traffic and forcing people into other systems. Hundreds of players wait on gates to enter. NOTE: Best viewed in 1080p. The text is VERY small in this game and is very difficult to see and is only visible in 1080p. I show a little bit of EVE Online, a game developed and published by CCP. EVE is an MMO taking place in a science-fiction space setting. Training in EVE takes quite a bit of time and can be very boring at times. The game is more for the casual player I believe, someone who doesn't mind taking things slowly. For a game that was originally released in 2003, the visuals are something to marvel at. Graphics settings are all on "HIGH" so you can bask in all of EVE's goodness with a steady frame-rate. At the time that I recorded this, I had very little knowledge of the game, so if I sound unsure, I am! Since then I have joined a Corporation, The Crimson Horde, and I have learned much more about the game.
