I'm selling almost all my instruments for a big move, and I figured now was a time to finally do something like this-- I've been wanting to for quite awhile. This includes all the instruments I own (even if only for a brief three notes like the ocarina). All the parts were improvised as I recorded them, and filmed at the same time as they were recorded into my laptop (so if I messed up I would have to stop the camera and the DAW and start them both all over again!). The multi instrumentalist Renato Martins, born in Rio brought up in Sao Paulo, started to play percussion and piano when he was just four years old. His musical education started at six with maestro Silvio Tancredi, progressing on to study drums and piano concentrating on Brazilian popular music at Zimbo Trio's School, The CLAM. He also studied classical piano with Professor Leda Maria Chacur Alves, as well as harmony, composition and conducting at Santa Marcelina Arts University. Renato was self-taught in a majority of his percussion techniques and created new techniques (melodically) for traditional instruments, for example, the moringa (clay pot). He is also known to have applied kitchen utensils as percussion instruments and has been considered a renewer of the Brazilian percussion by the specialized media.

A very capable musician, Chuckii Booker was prominent on the urban contemporary front as an instrumentalist, bandleader, songwriter, and performer. Born in Los Angeles, he was proficient on guitar and drums by age 14, but for a while preferred graphic art to music. His godfather, Barry White, signed him to a deal with White's production company in 1984, but Booker left after White failed to issue an LP he recorded. He joined Tease, and played keyboards with them for three years. Booker began to earn his reputation as a producer after this, working with CJ Anthony, White, Geoffrey Williams, and Lalah Hathaway. He also recorded as an instrumentalist with Vanessa Williams, Troop, and Kool & the Gang, and toured with Janet Jackson as her musical director on the Rhythm Nation tour. Booker has also recorded as a solo act for Atlantic, including Niice 'n Wiild in 1992.

Marek Biliński Profile: He is one of the most famous Polish composers and multi - instrumentalists, using the newest, electronic keyboard instruments. He is an alumni of the Academy of Music in Poznan (Music College in Poznan). He acquired his popularity on the music market thanks to his bestseller album "The Garden of the King of Dawn" and video clip "Escape from Tropics", which were accepted by TV audience as the best clip of 1984. In those times he had already procured his succeeding Golden Disc" and many concerts in Poland and abroad (he gave performances inter alias in Berlin, Hamburg, Bremen, Prague, Moscow and Kuwait). Moreover, he was awarded the first prize for the most popular multi-instrumentalist for five consecutive years (1981 - 1985). For the next 4 years (1986-1990) he was a lecturer in the Academy of Music in Kuwait. At this period of time he created compositions with Arabic influences. The most well known composition in Poland that emerged from this period of time was the symphonic fantasia "Faces of the Desert". This composition was supposed to be used in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kuwaits independence, but the Iraqi invasion precluded realization of the event. After the Persian Gulf War, the "Faces of the Desert" (which was visualized by photos of artist-photographer Jacek Wozniak ) represented Kuwait on the Global Exhibition EXPO92 in Seville, Spain. Hailing from Londons East End, Oli Lazarus spent three years of musical osmosis in Flying Records, a shop specialising in soulful dance music. On May 21st at the National Gallery of Macedonia 'Daut Pasin Amam' Skopje, the Foundation 'Klimentina Rafajlovska' organised a concert featuring this year's winner of the annual award for Best Musician-Instrumentalist. This is the third time a pupil of Zorica Karakutovska has won this award ahead of all other instrumentalists, a big success for Zorica and for the accordion in general!
