
o, the extremely tapered end of one of the iPhone 5 mockups (see below) made me presume it could have wireless charging, as there was clearly no room for a plug-in charging port. Apple has recently purchased a smaller company that is investigating wireless charging and currently has multiple patents on the design. How does it work? A small transmitter would pulse electricity through the air in a room. Leave your device there and it will charge. However, I think this will be left for the iPhone 6, as it doesn't seem 'ready' yet. Also, the new features from iOS 5 (the new operating system being unveiled along with iPhone 5) mention 'PC Free'. This is a feature that allows one to own an iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch without actually owning a computer, as you can activate it from the box. And if you do own a computer, and your device has been synched to it before, when you charge it (...) through a power socket (...), it will automatically update your library on the computer if you have made any purchases. So that kinda popped my balloon. es, I do love technology. And even more, apples. There's something about that juicy, red... Oh, you think I mean the brand. Yeah, they're great too. There's something about that cold, aluminium (not too appealing so far...). But Apple has a real tendency to draw speculation about it's new reveals as time goes on.
