As a kid growing up near Baltimore, Frank Robinson was one of my heroes; helping bring the Orioles a World Series Championship. Living near DC now, as baseball came back to this town, I got to watch him lead our new team. I think he did a pretty good job given the cards he was dealt. I have the whole farewell speech, but the public address system at RFK Stadium sucks, so I've just put up the goodbye.
