And then wa year or two, I saw a video clip he entered into Mr. Wiggles Video Clip Contest. And he won. And I was really tripping at how damn good he got. He really acquired a strong grasp of Electric Boogaloo style popping. Even though I didn't win, I really liked what I did. So, here it is. Moncrieff v Jamieson | House of Lords | Servitude of Parking
Brian Inkster of Inksters Solicitors provides the background to Moncrieff v Jamieson and details the decisions in the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. The initial reactions of Iain G. Mitchell QC, David McLean and James Moncrieff are then captured outside the House of Lords immediately after the decision on 17 October 2007. The Moncrieffs and the Jamiesons were neighbours at Sandsound in Shetland. Jimmy & Alison Moncrieff stayed at Da Store which is situated very close to the sea at the bottom of a steep cliff. The only way for the Moncrieffs to access the property is on foot down a long flight of stairs having parked their motor vehicles at the top of the cliff on land belonging to Bruce Jamieson. In August 1998 Keith Jamieson (the son of Bruce Jamieson) and his wife, Eloise Jamieson, commenced the building of a stone dyke around their property. This wall was to square off the Jamiesons garden and would effectively have cut off access to the parking/turning area used by the Moncrieffs. Discussions took place but the Jamiesons appeared unwilling to change the line of the new wall. According to the Moncrieffs, it was made clear to them that the Jamiesons wished to straighten up their garden boundary and were not concerned by the affect that this would have on the Moncrieffs access. The Moncrieffs were therefore left with little alternative but to raise interdict proceedings at Lerwick Sheriff Court to prevent building works continuing. Thus commenced 9 years of <b>...</b>

Catriona Jamieson: Therapies Based on Cancer Stem Cells
In recent years researchers have found cancer stem cells at the heart of blood cancers as well as some cancers of the brain, breast, colon, head and neck, and others. In those cancers that have cancer stem cells, its the cancer stem cells that appear to drive the cancer, multiplying endlessly and generating the bulk of the cancer cells. Researchers are now looking for ways of destroying those cancer stem cells as a new approach to treating cancer. Catriona Jamieson has a CIRM grant that led to the first clinical trial based on a drug that specifically targets cancer stem cells for destruction. She is assistant professor of medicine at UC, San Diego and Director for Stem Cell Research at Moores UCSD Cancer Center.
