Paul Hardcastle - Touch and Go (Jazzmasters VI) July 20, 2010

"Touch and Go" is the second track of Paul Hardcastles's "Jazzmaster VI" album. It was developed with a sax riff Paul Hardcastle, Jr. showed his dad. This tune is after "The Circle" Hardcastle, Jr.'s sophomore collaboration with his father sharing the merits with Chris Snake Davis, who performs a majestic flute. Jazzmasters VI was released in July 20, 2010. Paul Hardcastle wrote, mixed and produced all tracks taking the lead on keyboards, guitar and percussion. Paul is joined on his newest project by Becki Biggins (vocals), Paul Hardcastle, Jr. (sax), Maxine Hardcastle (backing vocals), Chris 'Snake' Davis (sax, flute, Shakuhachi) and Rock Hendrix (sax). Paul Hardcastle won the Billboard Magazine's 2008 Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year. He was just nominated again for Best International Artist and Best International Group for the up-coming American Smooth Jazz Awards in 2010. Happy listening! - JC

Paradise Cove - Paul Hardcastle & The Jazzmasters [HQ AUDIO]

Messing around with the new Windows 'Live' Movie Maker to see how my HD output is. Silence is acceptance, changes will be made as/if necessary. Another quite lovely piece of Mr. Hardcastle's work, this track invites you to prop up a chair and sit by your nearest sea, ocean, gulf, or even lakeside will sipping a nice adult beverage. This should be a subtle reminder to all of us that we should slow down, and take it easy, even in this crazy and rather messed up world. This brilliant photography and music is not mine. The music is credited to the wonderful mind of Paul Hardcastle and his Jazzmasters group. The photographs were pulled straight from a website by the name of nik.bot.nu . Please, if any of the photographers wish their work not be shown, contact me and I'll pull it down as soon as humanly possible. Thanks, and have a nice chill session! I do invite you to purchase this track if you like it.

Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster Makes For A Sound Investment (Video)

Who says you gotta break the bank to get vintage guitar tones? The Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster is priced like a beater but looks and sounds like a museum piece. With its Duncan Designed soapbar pickups, this Squier does the best impression of a vintage Fender Jazzmaster we've ever heard - some Fender reissues included. You probably already know that the Jazzmaster is great for more than just Jazz, but in this video Owen takes you through the Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster's tonal range and gives you a taste of what styles this bargain guitar does best.

1959 Fender Jazzmaster 3 Tone Sunburst Gold - For Sale

The earliest version of the Jazzmaster, introduced in late 1958, is highly prized for a number of reasons, but chiefly among them is the very striking gold anodized aluminum pickguard. This pickguard was featured only until late 1959, when Fender switched over to the only-slightly-less-cool-looking tortoiseshell guard. However, due to the guard's great look, its resistance to cracking, and—some swear—its tone, the gold-guard Jazzmasters are unrivaled by any later version. This one, although it's seen a lot of action, is a rock-solid player as well, with perfectly functioning electronics, a neck with excellent tension, and excellent sustain. Simply put, this is a gorgeous and weathered piece that embodies everything great about the first Jazzmasters. And it's a slab board as well, making it one of the most unique, collectible, and playable Fenders around.

Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special

The Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special takes the traditional look, tone, and feel of a vintage Fender Jazzmaster and kicks it up a notch with some subtle modern enhancements. Among these are an Adjusto-matic bridge and improved neck pocket, allowing for better pitch and tuning stability, which is crucial when using the classic "floating" trem tailpiece. The Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special has also been bestowed with a set of Hot Jazzmaster Single Coil Pickups, which offer more output and fatter tone than vintage models, perfect for chunky power chords and fuzzed-out sustain. A 9.5" radius, 21-fret, rosewood fretboard is precisely married to a "C" shape maple neck, and the Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special's Alder body comes finished in black or 3-tone sunburst. proguitarshop.com

Thomas Morris Past Jazz Masters - Original Charleston Strut (1923)

Thomas Morris (1897 - 1945) A primitive but often effective cornet soloist, Thomas Morris (the uncle of pianist Marlowe Morris) made quite a few records during the 1923-27 period although his style was considered quite dated after the rise of Louis Armstrong. Morris was based in New York from the beginning of the 1920s. He recorded with his Past Jazz Masters (eight titles during 1923) and his Hot Babies (ten songs plus nine alternate takes that comprise the best work of his career), Clarence Williams, Charlie Johnson (1927), Fats Waller (1927) and many blues singers. However, Morris slipped away into obscurity in the 1930s. He worked as a red cap at Grand Central Station in the late 1930s and then became religious, re-emerging as Brother Pierre in Father Divine's religious sect shortly before he passed away.
