*** PLEASE READ before Commenting*** Crashes happen and this Video is about the LiPo Battery amazingly still working after the crash! The Plane is back together, but not the battery! I was lucky, but did not panic and did all I could to keep this plane from hitting anybody. Being committed to AMA safety rules, I was making an inverted pattern approach at high speed. Finding it a bit wide, I pushed full down to tighten the circle and stay in front of the flight line. But due to a weak and sloppy (stock on the Meteor) elevator setup, I could not get enough down to hold a tight enough turn. So when I saw Bob on the runway, I had no choice but to decide to fly between the 2 cars in that split second. Here is what happened, the reason it happened, and some previews of the other 4 Episodes at the 4th Annual Sibley Fly in. I guess if I found a small vent hole in one of my batteries, it looks from this experience that it would not cause it to fail or catch fire in a crash, and that is Amazing to me. Although, I suppose that is not 100%, but at least I feel safer using these big LiPo Batteries. The jet is back together and flying well with my mods. I love flying it. Joehandsome99, WildBobsRC, Winston51249, Chris, and I flew almost nonstop day and night. I promise you my upcoming videos will be full of excitement, surprises, and crashes, so please stay tuned.
