Zhang Jia Jie - Real Pandora
Zhang Jia Jie, in Hunan province, is an amazing canyon perhaps even more stunning than the one in Enshi. It's recently gained a lot of attention as the site that inspired the floating mountains of Pandora, the alien world in the movie Avatar. One formation in particular, seen at 2:25, has since been renamed the "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain," formerly the "Heaven and Earth Pillar." The area is getting more popular but it is still an amazing site to see, and there is much more than just the mountains to marvel at. 1000+ meters below, there are rivers and waterfalls to hike alongside, which I didn't have time to visit. Been some time since my last cover! So well, Christmas has passed, New Year's came and went and Chinese New Year flew by right under my nose! So here's wishing everyone a belated festive greeting from me and may we all be off to a flying start for 2012! Best of health, wealth, prosperity, peace and love! The last 5 months have been life changing for me. Much has happened, and mostly all great stuff. I used to have weight issues that led to an inferiority complex. Just 5 months ago, I decided to turn my life around and work on my health and fitness. Here I am now, 5 months later, shed 17kg and 17kg lighter. It was a combination of dieting, exercising, revamping my eating lifestyle that allowed me to turn my fitness around. Also it could not all be possible without a strong support system of family and friends who have shown me their support. I am blessed to be where I am and where I am going to go. So here's a new me, with a cover of an old song. Sung specially for those who can relate to these tender lyrics and awesome melody.
