I love this song as it tells how hard it can be for a man to live without a touch although whole soul is yearning for it. In the lyrics there are many indications to the generations that were suffered by the war: as being there, or suffering as child of soldiers who were badly hurt by the traumas of wars and couldn't or wouldn't tell the horrors of their experiences. So their sons got the role model that is decribed in the song. But the chain of fathers didn't even end up with that, unfortunately. The lyrics are in English below. There might be some mistakes or false diction but I tried to tell the same story. The lyrics are not too easy to understand in Finnish either :) On Finland's Independence Day a modification to couple of lines describing the veterans.
