Eric McCann's adaptation of the DREAM Controller is based on Mark Micire's PhD research www.cs.uml.edu and can provide all of the functionality of a physical joystick through multi-touch interaction. By simply placing five fingers on the table, the joystick is dynamically re-sized and oriented to the user's hands automatically on every hand placement. It can also be moved to any position of the screen by dragging the index and middle fingers. Just a few notes I forgot to mention: 1) The throttle has a lot of resistance so it's very good for flight simulation 2) Prices vary. I think on Amazon it's about £27 - £35. However if you buy it from PC World/Currys it retails at a staggering £49! If you are using Mac then you don't need to install anything but if your using Windows then you will need to install the CD that comes with the joystick. Oh yeah one more thing: Apologies about the sound it's a bit messed up!

Classic Game Room HD reviews one of the worst controllers ever made, the Atari 7800 joytick controller. Wow! This sucks. This is what happens when you design a controller on paper and never actually play the thing to see how it works. Granted it has an awesome chrome styled stainless steel ATARI emblem on it, but that's about all it has going for it. This joystick for the Atari 7800 Prosystem is terrible and CGRHD shows you why. Odd design, poor button placement and crappy joystick action result in the losing joystick for a winning game console. If you play Atari 7800 what you need to get is the Atari 7800 gamepad from Europe or Australia, not this thing. Yes it works for games like Ballblazer, Karateka and Ninja Golf... but so goes the Sega Genesis controller, so just use it instead. Fortunately this does NOT work for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PS3, Wii or Magnavox Odyssey 2 retro classic old school arcade video game systems. This review is dope.
