Got a random battle against jpowell from the Marriland Forums. Life is indeed ironic. He was running an Illuminate Starmie of his own because he didn't bother to get Natural Cure on his own. I run an Illuminate Starmie of my own to deal with Sleep leads. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me that Breloom could Seed Bomb Starmie to oblivion for some reason, so I technically lost on turn two. Because I went for spore the first time, I had to spore again as he would switch to a counter regardless, and hyper offense teams can never afford to get set-up on. If that Steelix did not live two Earthquakes surviving at like one hit point and exploded on Metagross with a critical hit, I probably would have had my 6-0. (but technically because I broke sleep clause it still was a loss for me) So it didn't happen and this resulted in two things: Breloom's little secret was revealed and the WTF?! moment as Tentacruel used attract.
