This performance eventually earned 1st place after fine tuned for Far East 07. Any immature, disrespectful criticisms or comments to ANY team, or schools will be deleted. Routine was complete. But there was timing, synchronization, and minimal mistakes taking place. So there were still kinks to work on which we polished before going to the 07 competition. Rifles: M14 Carbine Pic- upload.wikimedia.org Weight- 10-12lbs (depending on parts) Modifications- Demilitarized, plastic rear handguard, black/white paint Routine: The exhibition routine is the most difficult, physically demanding, practiced part of routines. Usually consisting of elaborate and creative use of rifle drills including, but not limited to, spinning, throwing and catching with the rifle. Kubasaki Routine: Calculated to be a total of 300-350 counts of memorization. Some parts are not counted, but memorized to natural reflex of rifle drill/movement (such as ripple)

I got to Metter High School and our JROTC Program got the Gold Star with Distigish(only very few schools get this) We passed the Formal Inspection which we studied very hard for! When it finally came everyone was ready for it! and on top of that we knew everything that they were going to ask us!! We get on ever 4 years!!! But we earned it! Metter JROTC Runs the high school b/c we do everything there. From Football games to Basketball games.We have a Color Guard that went to state and won! We also have a Drill Team and Raiders Challenge! Raiders is hard.If your not in shape than you will be after you get finish with Raiders.On my first day doing Raiders I was sore when I got home but that is what it is all about.. NO PAIN NO GAME!! you have to take the pain if you cant than you're just not cut out for Raiders!! What can we do about it? What else can we do about it? So forget about it. Is that understood?"" -Competition is VERY serious for this school, and with his experience, Top knows throughout his years that sometimes cadets contemplate on what they didn't do right at performance. He then proceeds to calm those still in anxiety after the performance. Simply put, his "pep talk" is similar to the phrase, "there's no use crying over spilled milk". Drill meet champion Armed Solo Exhibition, Ohio Regional competition 2010. Amazing and nearly flawless (478 of 480 possible points), Ct Captain Michael MacNaughton brings home first place for Illinois Lincoln-Way Central on 3-13-2010. Besides spinning for nearly 6 straight minutes with multiple throws and catches, he executed a home made move "the crab" and finishes with a "double rising sun"! Great job Naughty!
