Love Language: The Original Short Film & Fundraiser

There are moments in life when we feel a connection so deep words can hardly describe it. But how do we know that it's real? This is the story of a boy who meets a girl and falls in love. (Please do not continue reading until after you watch the video!) The Jubilee Project makes films for good causes. This film was produced to raise awareness and support for the American Society for Deaf Children. There are two ways that you can support this cause: 1. Go to jubileeproject.bandcamp.com to buy the soundtrack for this video, "Peaches" by New Heights. You can also donate directly to the cause at this site. 2. Sign up to become a sponsor of this video. Each sponsor will be asked to donate 1 penny for each view this video receives in November. So if the video is watched 1000 times this month, sponsors will each donate 10 dollars. You can sign up to become a sponsor by emailing project.jubilee@gmail.com. All proceeds will go to the American Society for Deaf Children. The American Society for Deaf Children is a non-profit organization started in 1967 that supports and educates families of deaf and hard of hearing children and advocates for high quality programs and services. www.jubileeproject.org www.twitter.com/jubileeproject

Jubilee Project: 50 People, 1 Question (JP Sponsors Will Donate 7¢ For Each View to SUS)

To make the world a better place, we must first become better ourselves. The new year gives us all a chance to turn a new leaf on our lives - a chance to start over, to wipe the slate clean. Too often, we live our lives without reflecting on the lessons we've learned and about the person we strive to become. We produced this video to encourage you to take some time in your life and think about these questions. What kind of life do you want to live? This video was produced as part of our monthly fundraiser video series. The group we are supporting for this fundraiser is Services for the UnderServed (SUS), an organization that provides necessary mental and physical services for the neglected and needy. More than medicine, these patients need a second chance at life and the resources to pick themselves up again. Founded in 1978, Services for the UnderServed (SUS) has gained a reputation for helping individuals and families faced with a wide range of challenges—mental illness, developmental disability, physical disability, AIDS, homelessness, unemployment and poverty. Through their dedication to this cause, thousands of patients have been able to turn their own leaves on life and start anew. This is how you can help Services for the Underserved: 1. Email project.jubilee@gmail.com to become a sponsor of this video. By signing up to sponsor the video you will donate 1 penny per view that the video receives in January. The Waiting Game

For every view this video receives, The Jubilee Project will donate 30 cents to the non-profit Liberty in North Korea. The money will be directed to an initiative called The Hundred, which seeks to rescue 100 North Korean refugees. Here's how it works: We have recruited people who are willing to donate 1 penny per view. (If you are still interested in donating, you can do so by emailing project.jubilee@gmail.com). After August 8, each sponsor will donate money based on how many views this video receives until then. So if the video receives 1500 views by August 8, they will donate $15. Proceeds will go to help refugees in North Korea. So, watch this video, post it on your facebook, send it to your friends, and help us to make a difference. This is the story of a young man's promise and a young woman's patience. How long will she wait for the love of her life? This video was produced by the Jubilee Project. The Jubilee Project's mission is to make videos for a good cause. We hope to raise awareness, money and support for these causes and empower others to do the same. This is just one of many videos we're working on now so be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for more videos!

Jubilee Project: One Day Without Shoes 2011

On April 5, 2011, The Jubilee Project partnered with TOMS Shoes for their annual One Day Without Shoes. Joining hundreds of thousands of people around the world, The Jubilee Project and friends spent the day without shoes to help raise awareness for the millions of children who don't have shoes. They suffer from a risk of infection and disease called Podoconiosis, which is completely preventable simply by wearing shoes. Watch this video to learn more about the issue and share it with your friends. A World Without Moms: Happy Mother's Day

The Jubilee Project made this video to honor moms around the world because we were inspired by the love and care we received from our own moms. Moms mean a lot to all of us. Yet, every year 7 million women are injured and 350000 women die from complications due to childbirth. These deaths, however, are preventable by providing basic maternal health care. For every view that we get on this video, Jubilee Project sponsors will donate a penny to Every Mother Counts, an organization dedicated to improving maternal health in developing countries. Together, let's help build a world where children won't have to live without moms. You can help moms in a few ways: 1. Share this video with your friends and of course your mom to let her know how much she means to you. 2. Become a sponsor of the video and pledge to donate a penny per view to Every Mother Counts. Email project.jubilee@gmail.com to sign up. 3. Sound the Call for World AIDS Day

Produced by: Eric I. Lu The Jubilee Project made this video featuring Dr. Paul Farmer, co-founder of Partners In Health, to raise awareness for World AIDS Day. This World AIDS Day on December 1, 2010, join us as we rally to increase global AIDS funding. Global AIDS funding has flat-lined and consequently many programs and efforts to help those living with HIV/AIDS have been negatively affected. Increased, sustained commitment from places like the United States is important not only to provide continual care to these millions around the world but also to provide health care in general to those living without it. We have learned that more funding for HIV/AIDS has translated to a stronger health care system for people in poverty and underserved areas. Here are 3 things you can do on World AIDS Day to raise awareness for this important cause. 1. If you're in Boston, come join us from 7-9pm in Boston Common for a rally and vigil. The goal is to get 1000 people out, and there will be performances and speakers! For those of you not in Boston, you can find out an event near you at www.takeanumber.org. 2. Studies have shown that hand-written letters are effective ways to make your voice heard. Write a letter and call your local Senator asking them to take leadership on this issue. You can go here to find out how you can contact your senator www.senate.gov 3. Share this video with your family, friends, and colleagues. At the Jubilee Project, one of our favorite NBA players is Shane Battier, who is a model for doing good. So when we had a chance to interview him, we took it and asked him about the issue that is most important to him: education. In this spotlight video, he talks about why education is so important to him. As a leader on and off the court, Shane Battier firmly believes that the future of our youth rests in higher education. The Battier Take Charge Foundation, established by Shane and Heidi, is dedicated to providing resources for the development and education of underserved youth and teens. Check out his foundation at www.takechargefoundation.com This video is part of the Jubilee Project's spotlight series, to shine a light on ordinary people doing extraordinary things in their community.

Why I Sing (Official Music Video and Fundraiser for HepB Free)

Relationships don't always have a fairytale ending. This is a music video about love's inevitable let downs. It's also a story about love that is unconditional; despite the bitter realities it faces, love is patient, love is kind, and love always perseveres. Produced in tribute to the korean dramas we grew up watching on warm summer mornings. The Jubilee Project produced this video to raise awareness and money for HepB Free (sfhepbfree.org). Three ways to help them fight this disease: - Spread the love. Every time this video is viewed in the month of April, sponsors will each donate a penny to the organization. - Become a sponsor by emailing project.jubilee@gmail.com and pledge to donate 1 penny per view in the month of April (remember, you can cap your donation). - Download the song for a donation of your choice at jubileeproject.bandcamp.com. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to HepB Free to help them raise awareness about this disease, which affects 1 in 10 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Jubilee Project Spotlight: Myron Rolle - Scholar, Athlete, Philanthropist

As the 2010 NFL season begins, this Jubilee Project Spotlight features Tennessee Titan Safety Myron Rolle. Myron was never a typical athlete. He would spend the time between practices reading books and talking to professors. He stayed up late at night studying for the next biology exam while watching game films to prepare for the next game. He was forced to juggle his many passions, but that's what he did best. Because of his hard work and persistence, his story is unique: he is a Rhodes Scholar and now an NFL player, being only the third player in NFL history to accomplish this feat. But that's not why we're featuring him. It's what he plans to do with this excellent opportunity that makes him shine in this Jubilee Project Spotlight. After college, he started the Myron Rolle Foundation, dedicated to the support of health, wellness, educational and other charitable initiatives throughout the world that benefit children and families in need. Through this foundation, he has directed the Myron Rolle Wellness and Leadership Academy and the My Way to Health Program. After the NFL, Myron plans to go to Medical School to become a neurosurgeon. He is currently building the Myron Rolle Medical Clinic, which will provide much-needed health services to residents of Exuma, Bahamas as well as state-of-the-art wellness and training facilities for athletes and visitors. It is clear that Myron is a gifted man. But what makes him stand apart from the rest is his tenacity and courage to ...

Make Your Mark: A Givology and Jubilee Project Campaign

The Jubilee Project partnered with Givology for the "Make Your Mark on the World" campaign to raise awareness and funds for students and projects around the world. A one-of-a-kind mural was created by respected graphic artist Joseph Kilrain, and we collected more than 200 fingerprints and raised over $300 during an outdoor exhibition in Union Square. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our cause! And don't forget to join us at the "Make Your Mark on the World" event this Friday July 29, featuring M. Night Shyamalan. The panels of the mural will also be auctioned off with the goal of raising $20000 to support Givology. To request an invitation, please email Julia Gooding at julia.gooding@givology.org. *** To learn more about Givology, go here: www.givology.org The Jubilee Project makes videos for a good cause. Jubilee Project Spotlight: Quarterback Donovan McNabb on Diabetes

Washington Redskins Quarterback Donovan McNabb has long been an advocate for youth with diabetes. In fact, he started his own foundation to help kids combat this disease. Each year the American Diabetes Association (www.stopdiabetes.com) hosts the Donovan McNabb Diabetes Camp for Kids through the foundation's funding. The week-long camp, open to diabetic boys and girls ages 8-16, inspires children with this debilitating disease to overcome their predicament and live their lives to the fullest. We were delighted to have a chance to produce this video with him because he's a great guy fighting for a good cause. Plus, we are huge NFL fans (go chiefs and cowboys!). And it is athletes like Donovan McNabb that inspire us to keep helping those in greatest need. The Jubilee Project Spotlight series highlights ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Jubilee Project Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, the Jubilee Project joined people around the country in giving back to those in need. Jonathan, Mimi and Miry also joined JP by giving back in their own respective communities. These are our stories. The mission of the Jubilee Project is to create videos for a good cause. Through our videos, we hope to empower others to do good as well. We believe that doing good is contagious and so we make these videos hoping that our viewers will decide to make a difference in the world around them. After all, it takes one voice and one day to make a difference in the lives of others. Please go out into your communities and make your own videos and submit them as a video response to this video. Walker + Ida Wedding Video (58 cents per view will be donated to the Liberian Widows Initiative)

The Jubilee Project produced this video to support Walker + Ida as they spend one year in Liberia working with children and widows for the Liberian Widows Initiative. They are leaving on October 20, to help the country in the aftermath of a devastating civil war. Dozens of sponsors are donating (at least) 1 penny per view for the month of October. So if the video is watched 100 times in October, the sponsors will each donate (at least) 1 dollar to the initiative. If the video is watched 1000 times, they'll each donate 10 dollars, and so forth. So please send this video to your friends, post this video on facebook and twitter, and help us get the word out to support Walker + Ida. All proceeds will go to the Liberian Widows Initiative (www.lwinitiative.org). You can still sign up to become a sponsor by emailing project.jubilee@gmail.com. Learn more about this fundraiser by watching this video: www.youtube.com If the HD video is lagging, then you can watch the standard version here: www.youtube.com

Days in Africa #2: One in Five

The Jubilee Project "Days in Africa" series is a glimpse of the lessons, stories and adventures we're experiencing during our time in Africa. In Lusaka, Zambia, where Jason is living the HIV percentage is nearly 20% meaning that about one in five people have the disease. We hope that you'll join us in learning more about this serious disease and fighting back. HIV/AIDS is a serious disease that has claimed millions of lives for several decades. While there is no cure, the development of Antiretroviral drugs has reduced the mortality and severity of the disease. Unfortunately, lack of funding for ARV drugs and limited HIV testing has allowed this epidemic to continue spreading particularly in African countries. To learn more about the issue and find out how you can take action, here are some organizations you can check out: Health Gap - www.healthgap.org Student Global AIDS Campaign - www.studentglobalaidscampaign.org

School Video Project. Hey guys, thanks for all the commenting. Yes this is ONLY a remake, nothing biggy, and yes credits go all towards to Jubilee.
